SO I MADE A MISTAKE
here’s a reupload of the doodles I did for practice before delving into animatic stuff
Posting some old-ish art from months ago :3
Don't worry, I've got this.
Ult Takeo x Rushmore ♡
Primis Richtofen from Call of Duty is pansexual!

ayo this kinda look like.....the backrooms
Can I say that I REAALLLYYYY HATE Soap and Ghost? I mean, I see them all the time and they're always shipped together and people talk and draw fanart of them so much to the point I have actually started hated the ship... And most of the people that ship them always forget about the other characters in the game and how they're SAS SOLDIERS and not lovesick teenagers.
Maybe its a bit hypocritical of me because I ship Tankeo, but still, I dislike Ghoap.
behold; the epitome of self-insert slop

blatant attempt of copying and pasting sig into a female self-insert
egregious spacing that inflates its size
inconsistent time setting (almost certainly takes place before season 3's snow crab season as complete lack of jake anderson) while i do not want to come off as overly-critical of these works, the fandom of this show is scattered in small numbers to the point of general lack of genuine engagement with the media. on reddit's r/deadliestcatch and the even smaller facebook/tiktok niches, it is filled with nostalgia-driven critics who constantly revert back to the "golden age" of the show without even engaging with the newer media. as i have stated before on said subreddit, my main purpose is "...to create at least a section of this community that can appeal to those who would want to regain its younger (or any age of) online audiences that could reestablish a larger collective of a fandom." thank you for engaging in this post.
Stupid hc time
Ultimis Richtofen ships Tankeo. My reasoning for this is because of the part in 'The Night Before Christmas' from 'A Very Zombies Christmas' where he said, "Takeo and Dempsey were snug in their beds!" (Which, the Christmas album isn't canon to the storyline whatsoever, but it is to ME, so I'm using it), and also just because he would, it's in character enough
Tankeo and NiRi
I have been seeing many amazing artworks of Tankeo and NiRi (mostly Tankeo). Sadly I'm no artist so instead I decided to put this edit.
Can i just say that i hate, HATE Maya x Dempsey? And no, its not just because I ship Tankeo, but i just feel like treyarch forced it. Maya seemed like such an independent person in Bo6(I haven't played this so I'm not completely sure), and I think they just don't compliment eachother in a relationship, they would've been SOOO much better as close friends then lovers, and from the voicelines ive heard Tank doesnt even seem interested in her😭 Maya deserves love, 100% but NOT with Tank.
Little rant (TW for mentions of rape)
I freaking hate the zombies community that I have specifically observed on YouTube (and kinda on TikTok too, but I’m like 50/50 with that so), I guess specifically (what I’m going to guess) are like the cishet men of the fandom (also the literal target demographic for cod to begin with but whatever 🥹). Like, I see people talking about Richtofen’s sexuality, for example, and I see them play it off as a joke or just call him zesty, like no actually, with him having voicelines that suggest he’s HAD SEX WITH MEN THEN THAT MEANS HE IS QUEER!!!! OKAY, HE’S FUCKING QUEER, it’s not even just implication anymore because he himself states it! Or, the fact that Ult Takeo was implied to of been raped by the spider on Zetsu (if I’m correct) and I see the comments joke about it in ways which I do not remember, but it screams something along the lines of playing into rape culture and not believing men can be victims, and it just makes me fume. But yeah I just hate it. Also, I’m sick of seeing bo2 hate on TikTok all the the, maybe I’m just blinded by nostalgia or whatever they say, but some bo2 maps are peak :( at least in my opinion I guess
I hope it's okay that I add: another example of the prevalent rape culture is with Sam. At fault of Treyarch and the community. For those unaware, in the dark Aether storyline, director Richtofen committed medical rape. While Sam was imprisoned, he harvested her eggs. When the characters learn, the only one that freaked out in disgust and rage and VIOLENCE was Grey. The other members of requiem, who supposedly cared about her, didn't react. It appeared as an edgy action-movie-type way Treyarch wanted to paint director Richtofen as Extra Evil. (Which, by itself, is alreadly insensitive.)
But it got worse. Now Treyarch is WRITING THAT THE RAPE WAS A GOOD THING. The current story is constantly reiterating "thank god we have her eggs! Thank goodness! The entirety of creation would have collapsed without that rape! Her rape-baby will save us!" I'm not exaggerating either. The fabric of reality will come undone if Grey doesn't give birth to Sam's daughter. Critism of this narrative does not exist. When it does, it's more about director Richtofen turbo-sucking (which he does), rather than questioning why Treyarch wants to write something good coming out of rape. It's even having real-life reprocussions as I watch people argue medical rape is not real rape.
Oh, and adding to your observation that male rape doesn't matter in codz- director Ed raped All of requiem. The other's didn't react to having their reproductive organs harvested either. While Sam's dna was saved- because Grey (having loved Sam and mourning her death) didn't have the strength to destroy it- everyone else's was destroyed. So, it doesn't matter they were raped because no harm no foul if the evidence is gone apparently. A very Epstien mindset from the writers.
TO CIRCLE BACK, AND WHY I WANTED TO ADD TO YOUR POST: I've seen the defense of "it was a different time" for the call of the dead (2011) and zetsubou (2016) thing. Maybe. The internet was different back then. The only way to seriously discuss those topics were if you looked for them, and the spaces created were limited (by everything from censorship to word count). An open discussion of sexual assault only saw it's modern boon with the 2017 #metoo movement. STILL, I can't accept "it was a different time" as a defense. The community still leans on those instances for "funny moments", and Treyarch still uses rape as a card in their storyline playbook. Rape culture was always here, and continues to be. The only difference is that rape has gone from a device of comedy, to one of noble sacrifice.
I think I miss my wife

a "mouse's" way of speaking
monte is one of my favorite captains, though, i do appear to notice that he seems to stutter a lot more frequently than i have ever heard with any other captain, and not in the way of a "timid" voice, but much closer to an actual stutter.
i am not saying this would be a trait to mock at in the slightest. on the contrary, that could explain a portion of "how monte is" much rather than relegating him as "keith's little brother, mouse".
on the subject of "mouse", while monte has said in the season finale 16.23 that he was "timid and small" as that period, also in a livechat, keith is quoted of:
LINK: "Lola147: Why is Monte called “Mouse”? Keith Colburn: There are 3 Colburn brothers. Monte is the youngest, and when he was young he was the quietest. So our next door neighbor coined the term Monte Mouse back in 1969 (*monte, being born in may of 1964- would be about 4-5 years old during that moment*), and it’s stuck ever since. I usually just call him “The Rodent'-."
a persistent developmental stutter (also known as "PDS", which is a stutter that "develops" in childhood, then "persists" into adulthood), the variant of stutter i believe monte has, starts to emerge from that age range (2-5 years old, 3 as the average onset).
as the time he was given the nickname was in the upper-end of the emergence range, the early stuttering traits could have caused monte to differ from the usual "talkative toddler", as due to potential anxiety about how we would speak, hence would cause him to be described as noticeably "timid" and "quiet" at that age, from a variety of sources (himself, his brother, his adult neighbor, and his childhood friends.
though, i heard this exponentially more in episode 20.16 ("my brother's keeper", great episode, please watch if you have not) than any other episode, coincidentally the most monte has ever being shown in a single episode by a very sizable margin.
while stress would not cause the source of a pds stutter, it does however, significantly worsens speech fluency. being in a back and forth argument with your brother about a decision you made, that immediately preceded in his ischemic stroke that you both heard and watched, which is then yours obligation to ensure your brother's live is secured- would naturally cause a major amount of stress to any human.
due to this, as his stress increase drastically, so did his verbal disfluencies to the point three of them with classified as such in the forms of:
05:52/41:37- Monte (while on call with Brianna): "I just… I-I-I think the prudent thing to do… is to- is to head to the island. Can you get ahold of the clinic?" as "I just...[stammering]"
06:05/41:37- Monte (while on call with Brianna): "Uh- I'm-I'm, right now… about 60 miles. So, you know it's… I can be dockside in seven or eight hours at the very most." again as "Uh, [stammers] I'm, right now,"
11:42/41:37- Monte (while on call with Brianna): "Yeah. I-I-I-I-I think I need to talk to them myself." as explicitly "Yeah. [stuttering]"
though, it did not take note of the countless other occurrences, it was evident that some of them were too unintelligible to trace out "what he said", hence leaving at the [---] classifications.
i, however note that a stutter is not in any way just shown in repetitions such "w-w-w-ater", or what the show itself noted. throughout monte's speech, though especially this episode; it is also displayed in the forms of prolongations (of sounds), verbal blocks, fillers (such as "uh", "um", or "like"), intentional avoidance of certain words that are known to cause the former, and occasional breath utterances before the former.
while i am not completely certain of such nor has monte himself ever note of such, it has become a notable trait for i have started to notice almost anything monte has a sizable speaking role.
