skin & bones.
All she wanted was for him to do some simple task; to kidnap for the restaurant. Was that too much to ask? Honestly, it wasn’t; he was supposed to be her goddamn cousin for fuck’s sake, why did he have to screw up so much. She watched him closely, her arms crossed over her chest as she let out an exasperated sigh. Why can’t he just do the job so they can go back early. Huffing, she shifted her weight to her other leg while drumming her fingertips against her upper arm, teeth sinking into the flesh of her crimson lip. How much longer did she have to wait?
Once he had opened up the trunk, she knew that the girl on the other side was alive. The fucking idiot didn’t use enough chloroform or at least leave the used cloth over their victim’s face; of course, she would be conscious once again. “You fucking idiot!” The older female shrieked as she reached down to smack her cousin on the head before rushing off to chase the other female, grumbling as she took her pocket knife out. “Can’t fucking trust this asshole to do shit.” She scoffed to herself, shaking her head fervently as she turned around to call out to the younger male. “Get up, stupid!”
as if one hit to the face wasn’t enough to punish me for my negligence, i’m rewarded with another. which goddamn hurt so much. i know it was my fault, i should have been more meticulous with each step of the plan but i was nervous. this isn’t exactly the most normal activity a teenage boy does on his free time. i’d rather be inside the comfort of my room honestly. playing super mario brothers and allowing poor mario take the damage as i remain unharmed. that sounds a lot more fun than being here.
my cousin’s next words ring in my ears, mentally knocking me into place. she’s already pissed and i don’t want to boil her blood any higher than it already is. slowly, i get up, one palm still pressed against the side of my face (the side that throbbed with pain). i stumble as i walk but once i obtain my balance, i break off into a run in order to catch up to her. i clear my throat before shouting back at her, “i’m up, i’m up! hold up i’m coming!”
