I was excited for two of them

Is it real anymore can I keep going

Can I feel anymore.

Or am I just numb to not trust anymore.

I do my level best just to reach no success

Five years strong and im still all alone.

Am I being punish

To have no one to call my home.

Why does it make me so angry

To yearn for so much

To gain so little

And feel so stuck.

I guess it’s not in the cards

I’m a mystery, unknown, unclassified, and dethroned. I’ve been here for too long, I was quiet for so long, and now I in lost it all.

My dreams and all but faded, where my son could have had it all. But due to all my planning my son just couldn’t make it.

As I look back at my history, like a Rolodex spinning through my mind expeditiously. I remember them saying no and denying me.

Was my love not enough?

I couldn’t tell

Y’all left me in the cold from the outside looking in. I could see y’all was being a family with a new life for you and him. But I was always told the right one will come.

Well it’s been ages I guess I’ll keep waiting till I’m 35 and fading.
