Pretty Little Lucy

I was born Karen Lucille Hale but I've always gone by Lucy. I'm from Tennessee so you'll often find me representing some orange. When I was a teenager I won American Juniors which was super exciting since all I've ever wanted was to be a singer. I released an album in 2014 but touring wasn't for me so I haven't done anything since. I got into acting and I've played Aria Montgomery on the hit show Pretty Little Liars. Some of the best relationships I have in life are because of that show. I've done some different movie rolls recently and I played Stella Abbott on Life Sentence. I'm currently between jobs. Yeah, we had to film their for Gossip Girl a few times, it can definitely be a pain. But there’s fun stuff to do if you look around and find some good people to hang out with. Except getting a spray tan, that’s never a good idea.

I could never get a spray tan. I prefer to do it the old fashioned way.

I’ve no knowledge about American cities so, I’m not sure how far it is, but traffic is never worth it. Okay, I’m lying right now. I’m currently living in Italy, and the Jersey Shore is quite popular here. What are you filming for? Is it a TV show or movie? I think I’m too far away to keep you company.

Depending on the time of day it’s about two hours, maybe more, to drive one way. Italy must be a beautiful place to live. I’m filming a movie and it’s okay.

The train and subway system out there is pretty decent! I’d say it’s worth it to maybe take a trip out there maybe on a free weekend or something. Bring along some form of entertainment. A book, a friend, some music. Whatever helps. What are you filming? 

Since I’m going to be here a little while I just wish I could be living with my friend in the city but even if I took the train or something it’d still be a longer commute and I need as much sleep as I can get. I’m filming a movie called A Nice Girl Like You.

I’m sure she would if I asked her but she has an apartment in the city that’s a hell of a lot nicer than the hotel I have in Jersey. I just wish I could be staying at the apartment. Well, there’s a first time for everything. I play a character who's always followed the rules and is a really goody goody and then her boyfriend calls her sexophobic and she makes a wild to do list that takes her on a journey of self discovery.

Cate: I don't believe I've seen many children dressed as frogs. It wouldn't be my first choice, but I'll consider it. Lions are out of the equation, also so common!

Lucy: It's going to be hard to find a costume that isn't common though.

Lucy: I googled Toddler costumes and I found: Taco, giraffe, oompa loompa, Barbie, Poppy from Trolls...those are the ones I thought were cute.

My best friend is in NYC though and I just want to hang out with her. It’s torture. I’m not a fan of saltwater taffy. I’m filming a movie called A Nice Girl Like You.

Filming in New Jersey is kind of annoying. All I want to do is be in New York City, but the commute back and forth would be stupid because traffic is a bitch. Anyway, I’m going to be here a little while and I love company, who’s coming to visit me?

So I have come to the conclusion that my kids don’t have any clue what they want to do for Halloween. I have taken them shopping twice and neither one of them can decide on anything. Yet pretty sure Theo just wants to wear a sheet and run around screaming candy. If someone could help a newly single dad find his way around this I would be so grateful.

Maybe you should pick for them. My mom used to pick my costumes every year until I became a teenager.
