Some people are lucky enough to find that person that holds you close and reassures you that the world is not falling apart. That person basically takes you to a whole other world and promises that you don’t have to feel alone in the big world. It can be a boyfriend, best friend, a sister, brother, your mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, anyone. Whoever they are they make the whole world that you hate so much disappear and transform it into the most beautiful place. Let them know that you love them and there is nothing that will change that and thank them for the strength they have given you to carry on each day you live on this miserable rock in the middle of space.

anyways imagine after the infinity war is peter parker coming home from fighting in space, probably exhausted and on the verge of tears as he feels PTSD forming inside him, he limps inside the apartment and collapses onto the sofa and aunt may is honestly so pissed and scared but she can see how truly beaten down peter is so she just holds him while he cries and he holds on to her as tight as he can because for awhile there he was afraid he would never see her again, the most important person in his life, that he would die and leave her all alone

Appreciation Post

As somebody who has been on Tumblr less than a month I have never felt more welcome. As an introvert in a sea of extroverted friends it has always been hard finding people who to fit in with. To freak out with over OTPs, books, and shows. Never knew I wanted you all in my life until now. I want to be your friend because you all understand!

Saw The Greatest Showman, which is about P.T Barnum and his circus and misfits. Absolutely touching story even if the movie was 100% accurate. Barnum actually never saw his kids grow up, Jenny Lind did about 90 shows after Barnum left, and Barnum’s wife never really left and he in fact stayed married to her till she died. This song in particular is what I loved the most about the movie. I have a boyfriend and we both don’t come from particularly rich homes, him more so than myself. I would see this as how we live life. We want to do more with what we have and we both have big dreams for how our future will play out. I trust I will stay with him probably till the end of our days, and there is nothing that would make me change my mind otherwise. He is a ray of light in my life and I would gladly go through hell and back for him no matter the scars that will be left. The world we are gonna make together is a life worth fighting for and I know we have a life worth fighting for whether we have someone in our life like him or not.

Stay beautiful and keep your dreams in mind when all around you there is despair and loss.

It’s Friday everyone. So today is my first day of starting a Reflection Friday. What is it? What does it mean? Why do I care?

It is meant to be a day that you look back at the week and see what you’ve done this week and how you can do better for the next. It is the little ray of hope in my week that reminds that I can have a good week if I just push myself more to look on the bright side of things. So for those who submit their reflection I will look at them and choose the one the speaks out the most to me. Then on Monday, I will post the winner and explain my reasoning for choosing them. Here’s my reflection to show you an example of what I want to see:

My week has been rough. There have been all sorts of things that have occurred that not even the intricate words could ever explain. With friends coming and going, and my high school years coming to an end, I have to determine who I want to be as an adult. I have been under stress for the fact that testing is coming up and I have AP exams to attend to. There are people who try to crawl under my skin and make me itch with the need to speak up for myself, and yet I find myself content.

The days have been long and over drawn but that’s alright. The people in my life who have chosen to stay are by my side in this time of need. The followers on my blog inspire me to change the world seeing as I know I can change the world with a little help from them. My mother reminds me that I don’t have to make up my mind about my future just yet because she is getting her first degree at the age of 36. Teachers tell me that choosing whether or not to speak up is a decision I can make for myself when the time is right for me to decide, because they know I am capable of good things.

My days are painful reminders that things will get better even if they don’t look like it at the moment. I have seen grown men cry and children die. I am not afraid of death or the inevitable obstacles I will endure in my life. I will stand strong in hopes for the better tomorrow that is days away. And I will not stand alone no matter the day.

Four years ago, you could’ve told millions of things about the boy I’d fall in love with and I wouldn’t have believed you. I had always felt I would go through my painful and most heartbreaking moments in life alone, and that was just how I felt in this world. Imagine that a single person is a rain drop. Together they form a glass of water, to the ponds and lakes, to the rivers, the sea, and finally the ocean. Billions upon billions of these rain drops try to find their place in the world , and seeing as they are rain drops they are able to work together. Well, imagine those who are hurt and have difficulty working with others are little drops of oil. They separate themselves from everyone else and avoid letting anyone reach them. That was how I felt. Even if I was still surrounded by all those people, I still felt all alone. I was an oddball, a nobody, and it was hard to make friends. After all, when you’re considered a freak all your life, no one likes to accept you for who you were.

As I got older, I started getting pulled farther and farther away from people, I couldn’t sleep and I constantly found ways to hurt myself. I did not see how I was loved or how I was worth everything to my mother and sisters. I just saw excess and that I was not needed for this world. When I moved in my 7th grade year I met a girl who became my best friend. She believed in me when no one did and didn’t care that I was different. She liked that about me. She called me her friend even when others would say I was a lost cause and told me that I didn’t have to feel so alone. I didn’t believe her and it was simply because I had just grown used to being a nobody to society. With the change of schools I was starting to get exceptionally better grades and would even get praise from teachers and fellow classmates about my understanding of the standards. I began to get a little more comfortable with people.

After the first quarter of school (1st nine weeks) I changed literacy classes and ended up taking anatomy with my best friend and three of her guy friends. One of them I ended up having a crush on one of the guys. We literally knew each other for two weeks after late nights of texting each other and talking about how we felt on a day to day basis, he asked me out. I could barely fathom that he actually liked me. Who would’ve that I went from a nobody to his somebody?

I have been dating this very same guy for four years and throughout the years we have learned more about each other through heartbreaking memories than anything. To know somebody is to see their true colors and accepting them for it, and not only that but coming out stronger. We were both suicidal and both struggled to get back up on our feet and now we stand together stronger than ever. We still have much to learn, but I’m glad to know that I will always have him on my side whenever I need a shoulder to cry on and he has me.
