It’s softball & baseball season- I am frozen!!!

My son (boy 18), told me he needed tampons and pads for extra points for something at school. So I sent him a pic and said I got your tampons and ice cream not knowing he was at a friend’s house and they saw it- he did not think it was funny.

So my daughter needed a 3 prong outlet to charge her chrome book for school and our outlets are only 2 prong, so we had to by an adapter- NO BIG DEAL so why when my daughter mentioned it to her dad does her step mom feel the need to say- you know if your mom ever wants to sell that house it’s not up to code BITCH PLEASE- it’s a 60 year old house with a lot of the original electrical wiring and we have no intention of selling it

What I said was we’re fine no worries - what I wanted to say was your dad wants to leave your step mom but her and her kids would be homeless if he kicked them out and just bc your own daughter hasn’t wanted to see you in 3 years doesnt mean you get mine- I mean why does she feel the need to constantly say shit like that?!?

It’s the little things

I know that I bitch a lot on here, but it’s days like today that for no particular reason I realize how lucky I am to have a good job, a roof over my head and food to feed my children. Somehow even though I am divorced, my ex and I are doing something right bc BOTH of our kids are straight A students, they’re both in the National Honor Society, they both play school and club ball, and my son is a lifeguard and works his ass off. They may both be shits at times, but what 18 & 14 year olds aren’t?

I may not be where I want to be in life, but I’ll get there- I know it. Gotta get through the rough patches to appreciate the rewards right?

I may not have many close friends, but the ones that I do have are golden- so I know in the end everything will be okay :)
