will try to journal more often to deal with the stress. will try to not panic too much. most things can be fixed. it’s scary, but fixable.
-> therapy (total: 1h00)
📓 Hummingbird Salamander, by Jeff Vandermeer (maybe not the best book for someone trying to avoid feeling stressed lol)
Studying for the MCAT at my fav coffee shop! Doing some CARS and some ochem review :/ Also someone stole my coffee before I could grab it and left their own behind so the barista made me another AND let me take the abandoned one! DUB!
Maybe a white (blue) board will help me figure these LC problems out.
I just want this semester to end, tech interviews to go away, and to finally rest and get back to sewing.
this is going to be difficult -> i am capable of doing difficult things -> i have done everything prior to this moment -> this difficulty will soon be proof of capability

Who ever decided that false summer should start during exams has a lot of explaining to do
Bucket list #62 - Vitamin gummies
Vitamin gummies yayy! Is that silly? Yes. Do I care? Not really.
But on another note, I'm really having a great time writing lately. It's a little bit like reading a really fun fanfiction except the author is indecisive, takes forever to write and I have to tear every sentence from them by force. But it's fun!
it’s been raining for literally four days straight but it makes for perfect study weather | morningautumn
15.05.26
Can anyone tell me why studying at the dinner table is 100000 times more productive than studying at my desk?
4.11.2026: I went shopping to get some stuff for my apartment/graduation. I got a coffee maker and frying pans. I also got a yoshi shirt! I love yoshi. Very tiredly went home and finished a writing assignment. Tomorrow I'm going to work on my article ! Hopefully I will finish it asap and send it to my mentor first thing on Monday. so eepy rn tho
23 May 2026 🌤️
Gave my second to last presentation of the semester yesterday! As is my personal tradition, here's what I still have to accomplish before summer break starts:
one last presentation (which is almost finished)
3 finals
finishing up the specialization project (including writing a report, but I've already written most of it)
20.05.2026—crazy weather but at least it’s cosy
Grad school quote of the day:
“Lovely man. They shouldn't let him teach.”
why is privacy so eroded. I get treated like a nutcase if I say no, I don't want strange companies taking pictures of my home and putting them online for maps or whatever. I don't want to be in the background of your tiktok, and I think it's weirder for you to assume I'm okay with it than it is for me to politely ask you to refilm it so my face isn't in the frame. I don't enjoy handing my employer a list of every online account I have and feeling under surveillance when I'm just shit posting or sharing pictures of my cats or garden harvest. I don't want to hear your private calls on speaker on the bus, esp when the person on the line doesn't know you're broadcasting their words to strangers. I don't want an algorithm guessing what will piss me off the most so I spend more time online, engaging with shit I don't want to see or hear out of outrage. I don't want any of this. it's total ass.
15.05.26 - Study session at the deutsches museum library
Love it here because its green, and quiet + good parking opportunities and i absolutely adore the deutsches museum shop. Could leave a ton of money there.
I booked one of the few study desks with recharge opportunity and enjoy the slight wind coming in from the isar river which flows right by.
