Happy birthday to the classy Caesar~
johkid:
“Everyday use.” he didn’t use his wheelchair for any other sort of sports event. He had no need to. “I don’t do sport stuff much anymore.”
“Well, it shouldn’t be too much then. Hold on.” He spoke before calling out to the mechanics to tell him one every day wheel as well as a question. A response was given then. “Ah.. about $450. Do you have that much?”
johkid:
“Okay.” Johnny wheels himself forcibly inside, he had his money on him. but he’s unsure how much it’d be. “How much for wheel replacement? I have money but, I want to know just in case.”
“Considering you said you were racing one time, he assumes you’ll need the sporty kind of wheels. Do you want those or the every day wheels? It matters.” he pointed out. And when he says it matters, it’s more based on what Johnny does. Especially with his wheelchair.
johkid:
While Johnny wasn’t sure what to say to the mechanic he understood that he knew what was wrong. He rubbed his hand as he nodded his head. “Well, It’s a chair I got after I became paraplegic, it’s a fold-able but. Sometimes it gets stuck and such- uh but I used it wen I was in a race across country, a horse race. “ he explained that the wheels when he used it, was near bombs, knives, and the such before but the wheels had never actually been harmed until now.
direct impact is what ruined it.
“Wow.. that’s impressive.” He spoke, before turning to say a few words to the mechanic-- who nodded in turn and said a few words back and turned to go inside. “Well, let’s go. He said to bring you in further. There’s an agreement that you do need new wheels.”
johkid:
“Well that’s a good friend then. i’m glad you have that kind of friend to help you succeed.” huh? push him? new wheels? He just met him and he’s willing to help him through that? Well he did to seem to know some shit so. “Uh sure, yeah. That’d be really helpful. Thank you.”
He nodded as he placed money on the table before getting up. “Alright. Let’s go then.” Caesar moved, but not without Johnny in front of him as he pushed the wheelchair out and onto the sidewalk to get going to their destination. Yep. The wheels definitely didn’t feel right... But at least there was still time to at least get new wheels before it really gives out.
“People these days who can’t understand the disabled..” he murmured with a shake of his head. “Oh well. You’ve got a friend in me. I’ll make sure your wheelchair gets taken care of. Honest.” He said as they turned.
Caesar called out to the Italian man and started speaking to him in his native tongue before gesturing toward the wheelchair. The worker nodded and came over to take a better look at it before talking again. “You’ve gone through quite an ordeal with your wheelchair?” Caesar asked. “...He can tell, actually.”
johkid:
“Did you kick their asses?” Johnny seemed to have grinned, he can’t help it. While he himself hated getting into fighting scenes, he always wanted to know who won and who did what when ti came to others.
“Well I’d like to ask if you know where I can find a tire pump maybe?” Johnny recalled on the way toward this area, someone actually had the gall to Slash one of Johnny’s wheels as a ‘joke’. The guy ran off with his pals and Johnny couldn’t get a good aim on them to retaliate. he managed to get this far but chose to distract himself by talking to someone in order to calm down.
“Something like that. You know how some people are to the disabled.” he’s still clearly angry though.
“Just barely! If it were not for my friend, I’m sure I would have utterly lost.” He nodded, giving credit where it was due at the very least.
Though a tire pump? Caesar scooted his chair back to get a better look at Johnny’s wheelchair. “..You’ll need more than that, I’m afraid.” He murmured. “Do you mind if I pushed you? I know a place where you can get better wheels. You could pump air in them, but it won’t stay in there anymore.” Caesar offered. He didn’t have to repeat what he had said. Better wheels. And ones that could definitely hurt the next set of bullies next time they approached the wheels. What an insult.
johkid:
“Oh? I hope you achieve it, your dream that is. I’m glad to hear your day’s been peaceful.” where can he buy a peaceful day?
“Fight..?” he wondered, did this individual get into some affairs every so often? He’s thinking fit fights of some sort. “Me?” oh. His day. He didn’t want to lie and say it was good too but he didn’t want to spill his anger on this guy.
“It’s been difficult to be truthful, but hey, kinda glad I got curious and rolled over here.”
“Yeah, thanks.” He smiled for a bit. “Yeah.I went with a friend and my-- no. Our Master to beat up some bad guys. That’s all.” He said with a shrug. But that was back then, wasn’t it? It was one hell of an adventure... but at least they’re all alive in the end. It was always one thing to another, but Caesar doesn’t really regret anything that had happened.
Though... something definitely seemed off. He didn’t know Johnny well enough yet, but something told Caesar that he was trying to hide something. And out of respect, he won’t try to get it out of him.
“That’s good. If I could help you with anything, don’t hesitate to ask.” He nodded. It was just about all he could do or say. What with the lack of information.
johkid:
“Caesar. nice to meet you.” He knew someone else by that name. But he’s sure it’s not the same reason. People have similar names sometimes.
“So how’s your day?” Johnny never really tried to get too know another like he is right now, it’d been awhile since he made a new acquaintance.
“My day has actually been peaceful. There’s no more reasons to fight.. though I have been studying quite a bit in private in order to achieve a personal dream. How about you?”
johkid:
“uhh, yeah. That’s all. Just curious. But since we’re talking, hi. I’m Johnny.”
He nodded then. Yep. It’s just curiosity. Those he’s almost never had anyone approached to ask about his marks. It wasn’t bad to talk about them though.
“Well hello yourself, Johnny. I’m Caesar.” he greeted, holding off on surnames just out of respect.
johkid:
“Huh.. that’s weird, but I’ve also got an odd birthmark too. It’s like a star, dunno why.” though he thinks it’s perhaps the surname, joestar.
“Sorry to just come up like this.”
Also an odd birthmark, huh? At least his is a shape of something. But a star..? As strange as it sounded, he wasn’t going to press for details.
“Not a problem.” He spoke. “It was just curiosity that brought you here, hm?”
johkid:
“Now don’t take this bad or whatever but I’m just wondering, what are those marks under your eyes?”
“...Oh these?” He moved a hand up toward his face to point at them. “...These are like birthmarks. They don’t go away no matter what you do.”
