Been thinking a lot about the intimacy of Shepard helping Kaidan switch out a biotic amp recently. Pushing aside the curls at the base of his skull, a tentative thumb brushing over old scars, warm hands on an aching head. It's mundane, routine, wholly insignificant to Kaidan, but with Shepard doing it? It's... new again, vulnerable. Cautious. Loving.
