just so fucking exhausting how useless the current body of research and clinical standards are on the actual front lines of transgender suicide prevention. there isn't a single cis person at my workplace who will talk to clients about their transition and identity as a major factor in their mental health. full stop! it's ridiculous. the system is like "transition is something we'll let you do as a gender pervert adult through informed consent doctors or something we'll let you do as a kid to make your woke parents happy. but other than that it's none of our business" get real!

Plenty of people never got a chance to be a "Trans Youth" and plenty of people need access to trans resources before they're living the type of life and have the type of sense of self that would allow them to self-report their experiences as "trans experiences."
