I’m mobile so I will message people who replied to that later because it’s not letting me see replies :)
.she could not be more precious.
Someone do an au with me which is like after prism death and one of the victors that died or something looks after her and idK IM TIRED BUT
Katniss had heard her sister scream. She had been awake a long while now because of her own nightmares. She ran over to her sister and pushed her hair from her face.
"Don’t worry. You’re safe." She told her and hugged her tightly. It was a lie. She wasn’t safe but she would never tell her that.
"What if they reap me this year, Katniss?" Her breathing was heavy as she tried to control herself but a tear rolled down her face. Shaking her head again she hugged Katniss tight.
"What if they reap me for the quarter quell?" Prim's mind was full of madness, the thoughts of being reaped again and no one to save her this time.
Prim jolted awake in a hot sweat a scream escaping her lips. Watching someone run into her room. She shook her head. "It was me, they pulled out my name." Her fingers balled to fists clutching the bed sheets.

Pausing, he looked at Prim, actually looked at her before sighing softly, with a small smile. “I do. I miss her like….like crazy.”
Taking another bite she gave him a sad smile. "She misses you too you know, She just doesnt know how to show it."
Thankfully enough, Prim had changed the subject, or at least made it on lighter note. And he was glad because it honestly didn’t want to be in a even more dampen mood. The boy then smiled faintly, “Okay, I promise,” he replied before shortly adding, “And even if we’ll be the only odd balls at first because we won’t know how to swim, we’ll still do it. And we’ll eat seafood for the first time, too.” he said, gazing back over to the blonde while smiling a bit more, and though they unfortunately probably never would get to do any of those things they talked about they could at least dream about them.
"Good." She gave a nod. "We can learn slowly, I mean they all know how to swim so someone would teach us and then we could try fish and even go catch some ourselves." Her grin grew wider the more she thought about it, It was all just dreams but it kept her happy. "I want to visit 10 someday too and see all the animals, the livestock and 1 to see the luxury." Prim grinned playing with a small flower she tugged from by her feet. "We should go to all of them it would be amazing."

”So, you think I was ready when Gale ran off? You think Gale was ready when our dad died? Prim, it’s not fair if we didn’t get a choice, and he did. I got no warning; none. Gale just left. He never even said goodbye. At least Vick is getting that much from me. He knows that what I’m doing could get me killed, and he understands. Posy, on the other hand, barely wants me to leave the house. She must be going crazy right now, not knowing where I am.” Rory shook his head, a slight scowl finding his lips as he looked down at the ground.
Nodding at her orders, Rory found the edge of his shirt and peeled it off slowly, so he wouldn’t hurt himself at all. Taking a quick moment to glance down at the shirt in his hands, Rory almost cringed at the blood-stained patterns on the back of it. Tossing it to the side, he shifted his body to lie on his stomach before crossing his arms and using them as support to hold up his head. “They won’t touch my family. If Gale’s still out there somewhere, he’d come back and make sure they didn’t.”
She brought the wet cloth to his back wiping away the dried blood around his scars careful not the put much pressure on the bruising. Prim started to frown. "Rory, You need to stop for gods sake. Its not just for your family its for me and Katniss and twelve. We all love you, we dont want to see you killed. And the more people that rebel the stricter the peace keepers will get." Examining his back carefully she saw bruises coming to the surface, scars that slashed from shoulder to hip, Some of the worst she'd seen. "You should listen to Posy then, she seems to know whats best for you."
Her nimble fingers messed with the cloth trying to figure out the next move. Slowly moving around to the other side of the table Prim checked the draws for anything they might have left. Eyes scanning herbs, injections and medicines she grabbed a small pot of an unpronounceable drug drawing up the units in the syringe. "They are more than one person in power, they can do whatever they want. You, me, Gale, Vick or Katniss can stop any of it, Rory."
Rory simply ignored her first response, making him quite more frustrated as it was he decided not to respond, but after listening to what else she had to say he couldn’t resist from holding back his opinion on it any longer, “No, you don’t know that for sure, unless you can somehow magically predict the future. I know things are terrible and you’re probably right that they won’t ever change, but you can still hope. Me of all people has hope that maybe one day Panem won’t be so cruel, that maybe one day we can visit any district we want or go to the Meadow without getting shot. That maybe one day we can or will get to see District 4.” he told her, sternly, before gazing in a different direction and softly then adding, “Or at least it better than thinking we won’t ever get to do any of those things.”
She frowned listening to him talk. Hope. It flooded through the districts now, hope for change but was it really ever going to happen? "I guess I dont. I mean we all hope that things will change but..." Prim trailed off before shrugging her shoulders pulling her knees slowly up to her chest. "If you ever get to go to 4 I want to come." She tried to change the conversation swiftly, hating the topic of Panem or the future. "You have to promise you'll take me and we can sit on the beach and watch the water. We can learn to swim and everything. But you cant leave me in 12." A light smile tugged at her lips before she glanced back to Rory's picture. "Hope." she repeated quietly rested her head on her knees.
"rory is dead."
Primrose had just returned from the Capitol, after saving so many lives for such a young girl all she wanted to do was sleep but of course, no, that wasnt possible. The person at her had covered eyes, a familiar stranger she thought. The words traveled through her mind, echoing in her head. Squeezing her eyes shut Prim instantly shook her head. “N-no…”
Rory Hawthorne, her best friend for as long as she could remember, the person she could talk to about everything. He’d kept her secure, happy, positive. Gone. He couldnt be gone. Hands covering her ears Prim tried to block out those words, getting slowly louder. It couldnt be true. “Rory is dead.” The voice said again and she had a sharp intake of breath. “Stop. Stop…”
A tear rolled down her bloody cheek, still the same as when she returned back to the district, not having time to do much. Moving silently long the halls she stared at the blank faces passing by with not so much as a glance at the mockingjay’s sister. Prim didnt know what else to do, so she walked and walked and walked, unsure of where she thought it would lead her. Maybe to the arms of a Hawthorne’s ghost, thats what she wished.
"I saved so many, why could I not save him?"

"Steady hands help the art." He stated, smiling at her. "After you’re done, let’s go see what masterpiece you can come up with, huh?"
She grinned. "Okay." Prim took a small bite from the cake before wondering aloud. "Peeta...Do you miss my sister?" It probably wasnt a question she should ask but curiosity got the better of her.
”Vick would just take over my role, like I took over Gale’s. That’s why there are three of us, Prim. There’s always someone to take care of Posy, until she gets old enough to do it on her own. I can’t stay there forever.” Rory shrugged, a slight scowl tugging at his lips as he thought about the whole situation. Gale had left without a warning, leaving Rory to worry about his family. Then again, the same thing happened when their father died in that mining accident; Gale had to take responsibility at such a young age. Rory was the lucky one, in this case.
He walked slowly with her, afraid that any sudden movements would trigger the pain to come back. His back would burn like no end the following day. It’d be torture — again. Stopping at the kitchen table, Rory’s hands found the edge of it for support as Prim maneuvered around the small room. “Doesn’t matter. I’d die fighting. And, that’s what’s important to me.” Waiting for a moment as she returned, he gripped the table a bit harder and nodded. “Yeah, yeah, I got it. Don’t worry.” Using the strength in his arms, Rory lifted himself onto the table slowly, scared to hurt himself even more than he already had been. Holding his breath as he did so, the boy waited until he was sitting on the table to let out a deep breath. Look at that — something he did on his own just moments after he’d almost died. Accomplishment.
Prim just shook her head trying to busy herself. "Thats not the point though. Vick isnt ready to do that and Posy will have to live knowing that one brother left and the other got himself killed, Rory. I know you cant be there forever just like I cant stay with my mother forever but we can stay and support and help for as long as we can." Prim's mother had blanked out again and the girl had to take all the responsibility of treating the people of twelve.
The younger Everdeen nodded before taking a deep breath. "Take off your shirt and lie on your stomach." She'd done this too many times, to so many different people all thanks to the strict Peace Keepers and horrible rules. The talk of death was irritating her, Rory just couldnt see that dying fighting the Capitol was usless. "You know that if you irritate them enough they wont kill you. They'll torture you by messing with your head. They're clever." She took his arm evaluating scratches and scars before gently lowering it back to his side. "The end of it is if you fight to protect Posy and the Capitol get to know your name, they'll just hurt her more." She smiled slightly at a sign of improvement.
The younger Hawthorne then just exasperated a sigh, “I know Prim, no need to remind me.” he responded, being a bit much venomous with his words than what was intended. “It’s just— I don’t know, I hate it. I hate how so much has changed within the last few years. And it’s only going to keep changing.” he told her honestly. “And yeah, if only.” he said, giving a shake of his head in pure disbelief. Not so much believing that Gale nor Katniss would ever have time for the neither of them again. “And you don’t know that for sure.”
She rolled her eyes slightly making it barely noticeable to the boy. "And you dont think I hate it too? I wish they spent more time at home and I wish all this didnt happen but it has and we cant just turn back time." Prim pulled a blade of grass from the ground messing with it between her fingers. "Of course I know that for sure. We cant go to four, we cant just leave the district." The thought ran through her mind, the glistening waters but of course they couldnt escape the hold of 12. "You can dream about it but the Capitol have a hold over us."
