“What makes David Tennant such a great Doctor?”
who is she
I’m going to get an education, mother
hey! i’m stanley and i’m offering headshot sketch commissions in this sort of style for £10/$15! i’m in my last year of uni now, wanting to cobble together some money to cover costs later in the year. i’m trans and mentally ill so it’s been difficult to find a suitable job that can work around those factors as well as the workload of this year
you can see the examples in this post (and more) in better quality on my blog
if you’re considering supporting me please pop me an email at [email protected] with an idea of what you want and reference pictures! (please know that payments for these are to be upfront and done through paypal)
otherwise, i’d really appreciate a signal boost so if you could reblog this to your own followers that’d be great <3
I’d really recommend getting something done from this guy, he’s done a commission for me recently and it’s amazing! the price is hella cheap too :o
the gender tag.
I believe this tag is primarily done in vlogs but my face is ugly and the questions got me thinking and I wanted to express that some way so here we go.
1. How do you self-identify your gender, and what does that definition mean to you?
I am cisgendered, I identify as female and I always have for as long as I can remember. I feel I have a notable number of masculine traits that may or may not be obvious to some people, even close friends, however even if my masculine traits outweigh feminine ones theres just a part of me that knows I am a female. I don’t know how others determined their gender; whether they just accepted their sex as their gender or whether they put much more thought into it, but for me it just always has been what it is.
2. What pronouns honor you?
those commonly associated with females i.e she and her
3. Describe the style of clothing that you most often wear.
I don’t really have a style, it varies drastically and depends on how i’m feeling that day. Sometimes I feel more feminine, other times more masculine. I must admit however, with the exception of going to uni which doesnt count, i do prefer to flaunt a more feminine attire.
4. Talk about your choices with body hair. How do you style your hair? Do you have facial hair? What do you choose to shave, or choose not to shave?
My hair used to be a lot more important to me however I tend to prioritise makeup over styling my hair. I do not have facial hair, and I shave everything not for cosmetic reasons but because I feel cleaner.
5. Talk about cosmetics. Do you choose to wear makeup? Do you paint your nails? What types of soaps and perfumes do you use if any?
I do wear makeup when I can be bothered. Wearing makeup used to have a much greater importance and urgency to me; I used to have crippling self confidence issues during high school and to some extent still do, due to some experiences I had in that time. I ended up forcing myself to go a few days at a time with less and less makeup, and it was quite a horrible time for me as I would catch myself in the mirror and want to cry over how I looked. As previously mentioned, I still feel this way to some extent and I suppose those experiences in school will always haunt me in some way or another. I dont wear makeup to uni because i’m usually too exhausted to bother but those times I do walk past a mirror I make a conscious effort to not look as I know it will likely ruin a part of my day.
6. Have you experienced being misgendered? If so, how often?
I, surprisingly, have never been misgendered. Most likely because i’ve always had long hair. If I ever were misgendered I feel like due to my confidence issues it would probably knock me back to stage 1, where I was in highschool. But, I would fight out of it again like I already have, however I am much luckier than most people and even though I have many issues with my face and body those are no where near as deep and hateful as the experiences some others have with themselves. I’m very lucky Im able to try fight my insecurities.
7. Do you experience dysphoria? How does that affect you?
I have never experienced dysphoria, however I have hated my body before as most people have. Dysphoria is a whole different ball game.
8. Talk about children. Are you interested in having children? Would you want to carry a child if that were an option for you? Do you want to be the primary caretaker for any children you may have?
I am probably one of the only people in my friend group not interested in having children. I occasionally consider it and I don’t dispute there are many positives in having a child, however the same gut feeling that tells me i’m female also tells me I am not a mother. I enjoy kids immensely, however it takes a lot more than that to be a good parent and I have many flaws that would make me not suitable as a parent in my opinion. If I ever did decide to have a child I would much rather adopt than carry a child of my own, which answers part 2. I would probably be the primary caretaker if the unlikely situation occurred however.
9. Talk about money. Is it important to you to provide for a family financially if you choose to have one? Is it important to you that you earn more than any partner you may have? Do you prefer to pay for things like dates? Are you uncomfortable when others pay for you or offer to pay for you?
Financial support is integral for a family to thrive. If I ever were to raise a child, I would want to give them as many opportunities as possible. Good financial balancing is a skill I would also like to pass on to my kids, and show them the importance of money. If I were the primary care giver my partner would more than likely earn more which i’m fine with. Without kids, I don’t care who earns more. Its the workload that means more to me; for example, if my partner were working a minimum wage job but doing twice the hours I was, I would expect other responsibilities such as housework to be distributed accordingly taking that into consideration. I believe aswell that when it comes to dates, it depends who asks who out. If I asked Gav if he wanted to go for dinner, i’d want to pay even if i was met with resistance. It also does depend on income though. I’m not uncomfortable with offering to pay or being offered.
10. Anything else you want to share about your experience with gender?
Nope!
These two are so adorable.
The top yak at my school right now haha.

So my dog loves KK Slider from the Animal Crossing games and when he hears him he runs over and watches.
