ROLLING UPDATE POST
Note: The fic has been put on hold due to some private family matters. I will be able to resume work on the start of Arc 5 on September 3.
I've had a few new readers find Touch recently, and I remembered that this blog is still active because there are hyperlinks in the fic that lead back here. So if you're new, welcome! And PLEASE be wary as you explore here. If you're not up to date on the fic, there's definitely some spoilers around.
This blog used to be where I would update people on the status of the fic and updates, but I stopped using social media for that. Just know the fic will be finished, likely within the next 5 years with regular updates. There are 5 total arcs, and Arc 3 was finished on December 29th, 2025. Arc 4 will begin fall 2026 after I take a hiatus due to a private family matter (details will be on Ao3 in the author's notes of the next chapter). How this blog works: I have two character profiles (Aquila and Naomi) for the OCs in Touch. WARNING: DO NOT READ THEM IF YOU HAVE NOT FINISHED ACT II. There are MAJOR spoilers. If you want to see what they look like, click on the link that indicates spoiler-free headshots.
There is also a spoiler-free tag linked in the header as well, so look through that if you would like. There's also a playlist tag that contains all the Spotify playlists I've created for the characters. Beware going through my Spotify playlists because one of them has a major spoiler for Act II. If you haven't finished Act II, do not go poking around in there (all playlists on Tumblr are safe).
I appreciate every single one of you and cherish every kudos and comment I get. It makes me so happy to see so many people enjoy this project that is actually very personal to me. I've used it as an outlet for my own personal struggles, mental health issues, trauma, and inner demons, so it brings me a lot of joy to see so much positive feedback.
