The Grimm Reaper
When I was 19 I drew this picture of Tohru Honda doing her adorable space cadet smile. This morning I decided to digitally colour in this 9 year old pencil drawing for the fun of it. I went basic with the colouring and somehow it ended up looking better than I expected it to. It almost feels like I'm looking at the anime. Almost XD
I included my scanned and photographed pencil sketch of the fan art and I included pictures from the actual scene in the anime and manga
I decided to use the colour palette from the 2019 reboot on this art style from the 2001 anime just to see how it'd look. That's why Tohru's hair is a lighter shade of brown

This style of underwater art was an interesting challenge for me but I love the results

I did something new this morning: I digitally rough coloured a graphite sketch without going over it in pen and cleaning it too much beforehand. This also meant I had to be less fussy about being completely in the lines. I didn't go too crazy with shading either. I think it looks pretty good considering
