Container park 2017
I took my daughter up in the mountains last month. She enjoyed it very much. I love this portrait of her.
I haven't wrote in a while. A lot of things have been moving so fast. I've been lowkey. I haven't fucked with anyone. I haven't done any photography work. I'm uninspired. I'll promise I'd write more. Did I ever tell you I'm an apprentice bartender? Well, yeah. A year ago I was just studying the arts now here I am. I bartended the first time my whole shift earlier last week. When my manager told me I'll be bartending, I looked into her eyes and said 'holy shit...'. I was more nervous than scared. If that makes any sense. It wasn't as bad as I expected. Made money. Which was good. It definitely brought my confidence up for sure. This week, I'm trying to go out of my comfort zone and work anything besides the cart. We'll see how it goes. Wish me luck.
Recently I decided to leave a person who was so toxic in my life. I kept pretending that everything was okay and itll eventually go away. It didnt. It was the same shit overtime. Currently my life is moving so fast and I wanted her to be there for me. But she wasnt. I keep missing her. Im not going to lie. But I just keep remembering the good things. Not the bad.
I’m going to tell you a story. One of my coworkers always have this backpack when he comes in to work. It was so old. It had tears in it. A zipper was broken. At some parts of the cloths, it was fraying. He has his work essentials in the bag. His black gloves he always wears. One time he showed me he had a mop head in there. I have no idea why. Today I noticed he had a new backpack. He told me the cocktail waitress gave it to him as a present because they appreciated him so much for his work and kindness. How sweet, right? Later on he told me that he had that backpack for 12 years. Ever since he was in high school. I asked ‘where is your old backpack now?’ He told me its in the trash. I wish I can just let go just like that. Didn’t care at all. As if it didn’t mean nothing.
