Prussia ships (PruIta/PruMano comparision)

since I posted a very long post today I wanted to post something short and sweet. Kinda off topic but bounces around my head every once in awhile. I see a lot of people saying stuff like PruMano being a back up for Prussia cause he actually thinks Italy is cute but can't date him since that's his little brother's boyfriend. But I would like everyone to consider, that Prussia actually just has a thing for brunettes? I mean there's Italy, Romano, Elizabeta, Tolys (Roderich for people who ship that). I think it's perfectly fair to say that maybe he, loves dark hair. Hell it might be easier for him to spot dark hair. Albonism can cause really bad eyesight.

shipping is like mushrooms

So I'm gonna start this with a story time. My dad hates mushrooms. My whole childhood my dad hated mushrooms. He wouldn't eat them. My mom and I love mushrooms, we'd tell him to buy mushrooms and he would. He'd get good ones too. He wouldn't be lazy and get canned (Cause he hates cooked vegetables and knew that wasn't what we wanted). He'd get fresh packaged mushrooms and read things to make sure they were the right mushrooms cause not all mushrooms are the same. When I got older I could buy my own mushrooms so he didn't have to buy them anymore. I got really into trumpet mushrooms. One day I brought home some trumpet mushrooms. I sliced them into circles and fried them up in butter. My dad saw them and took one off my plate. (Something he often does when I buy meat or seafood) he of course realized it wasn't scallops like he thought and asked me what it was. I told him that they were mushrooms and, he kept eating. Cause he liked mushrooms, this way. Realizing that he liked these mushrooms prepared this way he started trying more mushrooms tried more ways. Now he doesn't like all mushrooms, of course not. In fact he still says he doesn't like mushrooms, but he likes some mushrooms. If they're prepared how he likes them.

now, what does this have to do with Shipping. I don't ship RusAme, I don't like how violent it's depicted. I don't like them fighting each other, I don't like blood, I don't like hate sex or anything like that. However, this year I have seen more RusAme fan art than I have in years of being in the hetalia fandom. I've seen art of them being cute, domestic, lovely. I've read fics of them being enamored in each other. Loving, even moderatly manipulative in the desire to have each other's attention, and I do like that. Suddenly I'm eating the mushrooms and they're good. I still don't really consider myself a RusAme shipper, but if I see art or writing of them being sweet then I like it. I give hearts for them and likes or kudos, cause even though I don't consider myself a RusAme shipper someone prepared this so nicely that I like it. They took time to make it how I like it and of course I want to reward them with acknowledgement. Now obviously this doesn't mean that every person will like everything that's not realistic, but, I think more people should consider ships like this. Not everyone will like mushrooms no matter how you prepare them. People who like mushrooms might not like all mushrooms. Some people who like mushrooms will like them however they're made. And that's fine, if a ship isn't for you and you've tried it in every way that's fine. If you like a ship when it's done a specific way, that's fine. If you like a ship in every way every time, that's fine. There's no reason to get mad if someone enjoys something you don't. Don't find the bad mushrooms to give to people who like mushrooms. We can and should respect people's tastes.

my thoughts on Us/Uk

So, when I started watching Hetalia Us/Uk was so common it didn't even matter. Like you couldn't see a fan who didn't have a passing interest in that ship, and I'll be honest I didn't really care for it. I do prefer them having a father/son dynamic, not cause England deserves to be a father. He's a horrible dad, but in my head, the idea that Alfred is his son, means all his colonies are his kids. This means that England litereally slept his way around the world. He's just a slutty dude who's got so many kids running around he can't even handle keeping up with one. That's the kind of mess I see him in, he's just so messy it's impossible to take him serious. But like, I really don't care if other people see him like that. People can feel how they want about it cause ultimately every character is just a doll we're playing with.

I must admit something. I have no idea how shipping names work. I"ve been with Hetalia since 2011 and I would always just say whatever ship name was easier. Like FrUk for me doesn't mean France tops, it just means that it's France and United Kingdom together. This confused so many people over the years. Like no LeitPol doesn't mean Poland is whatever or Lithuania is whatever, I don't think either of them can pull themselves together long enough for that. They're just cute together. I often just don't put that much thought into it. They're cute, I don't know what their bedroom is like. So whenever I tagged anything with a ship name, it basically means nothing except that I want people who enjoy this couple to see it.

Specifically 1p!America x 2p!America and 1p!Canada x 2p!Canada. Cause they are just so peak. Like 1pA(merica) who is constantly flusterecd by 2pA(mericia), but doesn't hate it and often just lets it happen. Then there's 1pC(anada) who absolutely owns 2pC(anada) and they're both chill about it. I remember there were these comics that just had them all the time being together and I didn't even have Tumblr back then (Let alone other social media) but I knew if I looked it up on Google I'd have a treat and honestly I would look it up during class all the time and it was one of the best parts of my day in High school. Like I know I'm imagining it differently but in my head it's just like. Crazy.

for Friday night I changed into Incubus Prussia

Saturday we were Gangstertalia Prussia and punk England ran into some fellow Hetalia people

Saturday night we did Vampire France and Victim Scotland, hung out with friends the whole night.

Sunday brought back Incubus Prussia with a gangstertalia twist for the CWF preformance.
