I don’t get why people hate on online dating so much “it’s bc you don’t rlly know the person!” “Because they are catfishing you!” “Because it’s not even a real relationship you guys can’t touch!”
You you think loving someone is all abt touching than ur wrong. Don’t get me wrong id want nothing more than to be close to my partner but thats js not how things worked out for us. Being in a relationship isn’t abt the touchiness it’s abt the connection you guys have build and the future you see urself having with them which i do i see myself growing old with my partner so why do so many people hate on it? Why do people hate when others are happy? Why do people feel the need to tell people what THEY think is right and what THEY thing is wrong?
And as for the not know the other person. I know as much abt my partner as anyone does being in a 8 month relationship js bc we are on a screen doesn’t mean I don’t know the little habits they have or what makes them happy or sad like js bc we are experiencing it differently than you doesn’t mean we aren’t experiencing it
And the catfishing there’s no way in hell my partner is cat fishing me we send pics all the time we call we FaceTime ALL THE TIME and we send voice messages and they are actually letting me go see them in person.
I’ve always been a very not trusting person online that’s why I don’t dm people first and don’t respond to most people at all I never show my face unless my account is private and I never accept anyone I don’t know. I’ve been taught never to trust people online so the fact I’m dating someone like this is insane but that’s besides the point if you really need to put others down so you can feel better abt yourself than maybe look more into that instead of other people’s lives thank youu
