*sigh* Honestly, I don't know what I would do if I didn't have Jesus in my life, because so many people and what they've done have tried to turn me unkind. I'm surprised I'm not a cold-hearted jerk at this point.

I angrily sped walked down the sidewalk. I would have to walk a half a mile, just to get her precious coconut water. I mumbled to myself as I walked.

"All for some coconut water," I mumbled, "She's got the car. Why doesn't she drive her lazy self down to the convenient store?! I hate my life! I hate it, hate it, HATE IT!" I accidentally yelled that last part. An old woman across the street looked at me like I was mental. I guess I yelled really loud. Oops. Gosh, I just wanna go to sleep. I was almost at the convenient store. Just a little more to go, I thought to myself, when suddenly I felt like I was being followed. I stopped walking and looked all around. No one was following me. I brushed off the notion that someone could be following me, and kept on going, when suddenly I felt someone grab my shoulder. I shrieked so loud and sharply spun around to see who touched me, but before I could even get a good look at him, he tightly clamped his hand onto my mouth and dragged me into the bushes. I tried kicking and squirming to get away, but he was stronger than me, and had a tight grip on me too. I tried screaming, but because he sealed my mouth shut, all that came out was quiet muffled noises.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey calm down! Calm down kid!" he said. But I was far from calm. I was terrified! Millions of terrible things he could do to me rushed through my mind all at once: What if he kidnaps me and takes me to his house?! What if he makes me his slave?! What if he KILLS me?

"Will you stop squirming?!" he said interrupting my thoughts. I stop squirming. "Now, I'm gonna remove my hand. Do not. Scream. Capiche?" I nodded my head yes. He slowly removed his hand.
