Bob’s Burger Fanfic Belchers On The Run
"I...I'm not sure..?" Tina whispered, her eyes still a bit sore from crying. "Just realized the boy had really liked all these years... Just didn't want to be with me anymore," looking at the guy more clearly, and couldn't help but notice how handsome he looked.
He was a tall, young man who seemed to be about her age with beautiful tan skin and a face that held a warm, charming smile with sharp cheekbones and jaw, with a half-shaved style, long black hair reaching below his back. He wore a simple white shirt with a red mine on it, a simple jean jacket with a leather collar, gray, bluish, worn-out pants with cowboy boots.
Tina had never seen them before in town, so they must be new in town.
"Dang, that must be pretty rough. I'm sorry to hear that," he replied, catching her off guard. Here was a complete stranger showing concern. "Um... thanks, I guess," she sighed. It felt pretty nice that somebody was showing her this kindness. The stranger gently walked over to the empty seat next to her. "May I?" He asked, giving eye contact, waiting for permission. Before Tina realized it, she ended up nodding 'yes' as the kind stranger sat down next to her, but not too close, and at a respectable distance. Then Tina realized he didn't know who this guy was. Might as well make a proper introduction.
"Um.. hi, I'm Tina by the way...Tina Belcher," she said, feeling a bit shy. Then the guy introduced himself. "I'm Alejandro Redhawk, ya'at'eeh, most call me Jano," he greeted in return, holding out his hand for a handshake, which Tina politely took, noticing how strong and tough his hand was compared to hers. "Ya'at'eeh? What does that mean?" She asked, curious. The guy chuckled, smile widening as if he was already beginning to like her even more. "It means 'it is good' in my people's language, I am Navajo," he explained, making Tina interested in learning something new.
"Wow, that's amazing, Jano, I never knew that." She only knew some Native American stuff from history books and educational films they watch from school.
They talk back and forth with interesting questions (mostly from Tina) and Jano would explain happily with his answers. It turns out Jano is 17 and is here for the whole summer while his family is on a business trip at the Brotherton Indian Reservation. and is visiting/staying with some relatives in Seymour's Bay. He's from the Navajo Window Rock Arizona, is the youngest of his three siblings that are already grown up. He likes reading, writing, and horses (much to Tina's surprise and secretly joy upon realizing they have some stuff in common) sharing her likes and interest with him ofher love for friendfiction, horses and yes even zombies (and for a momment thought he might be a little weirded out by that one making her seem odd) but was caught off by his reply "I think that is really unique Tina, to be honest i find creepy things like zombies interesting too, hell i find the paranormal a facinating world," leading them to discuss about the interesting world of the strange things.
After taking together of endless stuff Tina eventully learnd he just arrived few days ago and has been exploring the town ever since trying to get his surroundings, that's when he met Tina at the park and now here, they are now.
Then Tina had a sudden idea, "Hey...umm Jano since you're curious about our town... And want to explore it some more... What i mean is... Would you like me to give you a tour of the town I mean... I mean if you want to..." She said a little nervous gosh she hadn't felt this way whenever she had big crushes. And once again much to her surprise Jano nodded in agreement. "Of course Tina, I would really like that, show me what Seymour Bay is all about,"
Getting up quickly he offered his hand to Tina who happily accepted it secretly enjoying the feeling of how strong and soft it felt against her petite one. "Lead the way Tina Belcher,"
"Of course, Jano Redhawk let me be your tour guide Tina that's me in our interesting seaside town," At that moment Tina had forgotten all about her heartbreak with Jimmy Jr. Because now her new focus was being with a new potential friend who was so kind and found her interesting that it ignited a sudden spark within her that will soon lead to unexpected feelings in her heart that she had never thought of before.
Throughout the rest of the afternoon tour guide Tina (that she called herself) showed her new friend all around town (well at least all the places that she knows) from the people to buildings with its craziness here and there. Still, it was a pretty interesting time to be in. For less she showed him one of the best places to be is good old WonderWharf one of the most funnest places to go to during the summer. She even told him of the time that her and her family actually saved the place and its owner in every cool detail and the cool secrets the amusement park has and Jano listened. being more impressed every time Tina spoke something new. As they were entering the warf to explore the carnival she suddenly felt a gurgle coming from her stomach causing a blush to come to her cheeks.
"Oh, sorry about that, I guess my stomach's telling me it's about lunch time," suddenly she also heard a growling noise and she realized it was from Jano who was quite the whole time let out a happy chuckle. "Yeah..hahaha, I guess I'm getting hungry too, and since you been such a very good guide to me allow me to buy you lunch Tina my treat," He replied looking at the food stands nearby. "What sounds good to you?" Tina thought for a moment, "Uh..how about a good old hot dog..does that sound good?" She suggested it seemed both their stomachs agreed that they let out another hungry growl demanding lunch. Causing them both to giggle as they both went to the stand to order themselves some good old Franks and soda as they were having a buy two get a free soda deal. And dang Mr.Fischeoder is really improving on the food her this was probably the best hot dog they had on the pier in years.
"Thank you for buying me lunch Jano that's very sweet of you," Tina thanked him happily munching on her hot dog and a sip of her soda. She usually bought her own food and drink whenever she went out with Jimmy Jr. But this is the first time someone bought her something out of their own dime it felt so kind and polite to this guy she just met a few hours ago and she felt like she was learning something new about him every minute.
"It is my pleasure Tina, besides it is a gentleman's chivalry to pay for a woman's meal that's how my grandfather taught me," he explained taking a bite of his own food "Mmm, yeah this is good, (he spoke his mouth slightly full before swallowing) it's rare for me to enjoy carnival food like this, I usually eat hot dogs once in awhile whenever I go camping," he explained leading to another discussion about camping and nature Tina sharing her experience as a Thunder girl scout and what nature adventures she got to have as one with your friends and family.
Jano shared his experience out in the woods and how he's pretty much grown up in nature out on the rez how he learned things to survive based on what he was taught in his culture and how they respect nature themselves and what it gives back to us. He remembered this time he ended up doing something pretty hilarious on his first time out camping on his own thinking he was Tarzan and somehow ended up eating berries that gave him a stomach ache for a week and tried to make a fire the old fashioned way with firecrackers without learning the proper steps of how to do it and almost burnt his hair off! The way he explained it caused Tina to break out in a fit of laughter bringing a genuine smile to her face laughing so hard at the funny scenario she didn't notice the admiring look the indigenous teen was giving her his big dark brown eyes the color of fresh earth shined with curiosity and attraction towards this girl he just met.
It's like seeing something that you become so captivated by, that it draws you in like a new book to read.
That's the best Jano could describe it with this Tina girl that fascinated him to no end. "Your truly an interesting person Tina, I never meet someone so kind-hearted and sweet." Tina blushed at the comment. "Thank you, Jano I think you're very interesting too, even though we just met I feel so comfortable around you, your so easy to talk to and you like what I have to say without me making it weird if that makes any sense?" She said shyly knowing she was socially awkward at times with others." Jano gentle took her hand into his own. "I like weird, and I like you very much and would like to continue getting to know you if you'll have me as your friend."
Throughout the rest of the day the two to explore at Wonder Wharf playing games and going on a few rides. On some of the wilder rides Jano would whoo-hoo and whoop in excitement! Causing Tina to laugh out loud from his joyful expressions of adrenaline!
Soon evening came as the summer skies became soft lavenders, pinks and blue with the stars already beginning to peak out on the horizon with the pale moon glowing soft as the lights of the park began to light up in an array of colors and fairy lights.
Tina was having such a good time, but she almost forgot to check her phone for the time. Pulling it out from her pocket she realized it was 7:30 she'd have to be getting home soon! Quickly she texted her mom that she'll be on her way home soon. She doesn't know how she's going to explain about Jimmy Jr not showing up but right now she doesn't want to worry about what all she wants to do is continue to hang out with her friend a little longer. "Hey want to play one more game?" He asked her if they approached one of the ball toss games. "Sure why not, ooh look they got new prizes."
Ever since the time the old stuffed animals almost blew up the Wharf Mr.Fischoeder took it upon himself to purchase better prizes that are non-flammable and dangerous to avoid any lawsuits or someone to use them to catch things on fire for heinous schemes like his cousin tried to do. There were assortments of cute teddy bears, stuff dragons, and ohh the most adorable fluffy unicorns she'd ever seen!
Jano noticed her admiring it and decided he would try to win it for her.
"Three tries for the big prizes please," the game woman handed him three balla to throw and try to knock down the bottles.
He handed Tina a ball. "Let's see if we can win that unicorn for you." He said giving her a wink as he took a stance focusing on his target Jano pulled his arm back and threw the hard straight through the bottles knocking them all down! The game Lady and Tina were impressed! Taking the second ball he ended and hit it with the second strike.
It seemed that he knew how to play baseball pretty well. Now it was Tina's turn.
Taking her own stance Tina focused I took a deep breath ashy threw the ball as hard as she could hitting the target and knocking down a few bottles. But not all of them. "Oh nuts, I didn't get them all," but that was all right it's just a game and they have cute little prizes. But the kind Carnie had different thoughts. "I have to admit that was pretty impressive kid, and you know what since you guys pretty kind I'll let you all have one more go." She said handing them one more ball to Tina and this time she turned to Jano. "Can you show me how to do that?" "Of course here let me show you," getting behind her, he took her hand as he helped her get a better angle of throwing the ball.
"Now all you have to do is grip the baseball with your middle finger along a seam and your thumb directly opposite it. Throw the ball with full arm speed, maintaining a "karate chop" wrist motion (he helped her place her fingers correctly on the ball) yes like that and let em go!" Doing just that Tina threw it with all her might and much to her surprise the ball struck knocking down all the bottles at once!
"Alright we have a winner, what price would you like!" The kind Carnie asked motioning for all the stuffed animals with Jano pointing towards the unicorn. The woman grabbed it handing it to them. Tina couldn't believe her eyes. OMG it was the cutest thing ever and so fluffy! "Oh, I love it, thank you so much Jano!" She cooed hugging the unicorn plush. Jano smiled at her reaction. "My pleasure Tina, I'm glad you like it, especially with an amazing girl like you."
Gosh Tina couldn't ask for more of an amazing day meeting a guy like him.
After winning the prize it was finally time to go home. When Tina explained it, Jano kindly offered to walk her home to which she happily accepted. Walking together hand in hand.
Back at the restaurant. The rest of the Belcher family was finishing tidying up the restaurant after a big lunch and dinner rushed today with their latest Burger of the day. "The Super Sunny side up deluxe Burger!" Bob felt like he was about to faint about how much money they made today. Especially now that they are going to be paying the rent on time this month. "Gene, Louise would you two go ahead and take the garbage out for me please,” He asked as he poured out the last of the garbage into the trash bags tying them up.
Louise groaned, "Fine, but I want to go to smells extra smelly,"
"Fine, but I get two extra quarters for this as payment especially since this smells extra smelly," Bob simply shook his head, but yeah it did smell pretty bad they used a lot onions today and there was some rotten vegetables in there from yesterday and Louise has been wanting to earn some extra cash doing chores in the restaurant earning some quarters as payment.
"Same goes for me pops, phew I don't think you and the raccoons want to eat this one, this one really cut the cheese hahaha," Gene said laughing at his own joke.
Their Dad only sighed wondering why he agreed to pay them quarters.
In the alley Gene and Louise grunted as they lifted the heavy bags into the trash cans. "Annd and there we go! Phew what a workout," throwing away giant trash bags was a workout, plus with this summer heat beginning to rise made the garbage stink.
Gene hoisted the last garbage into the dumpster as Louise who climbed up to get the nearly full dumpster gave a few stomps to squeeze it inside. "Come...Huffed...On... you... stubborn trash!...aha!!!..Yes!"
She cheers flattening the last bag to fit as she jumps off the dumpster closing the lid at the time. "Another day, another dollar,"
"You mean another quarter," Gene replied excitedly for the payment of the best change for fun stuff. "Yeah, it still should be a dollar," "Still planning to convince dad to pay us in dollars?" "Mmmm hmmm you betcha Gene,"
Suddenly Linda came out pulling a giant jar of expired pickles, "Oopsie we forgot this Bella can one of you open the dumpster really quick this thing is heavy?" She asked motioning towards the dumpster. "Okay, that will cost an extra quarter," Louis responded opening the lid for her mom to throw the jar into the garbage.
"Whew... We got to double check our pickle jars, so not to accidentally get expired ones next time," she said testing her hands off and ready to head back inside. But just as they turned towards the door, they suddenly heard a "Klank!" What was that?
Suddenly a scruffy little yorkie puppy mix crawled out from some old junk whimpering sniffing around for scraps until it noticed Linda and let out a tiny little “yip! Its tiny stump tail wagging at the sight of a human as if they were happy to see her. “Ohh, its a little puppy, hey little guy what are doing out here?” Carefully and slowly she approached the little mutt bending down offering hand to let it sniff her hand and show she was not a threat. & and much to her joy and surprise the little pup yipped again and gave her hand a few licks as a sign of trust. It warmed Linda’s heart as she got a better look at the poor baby. The poor thing looked liked it went through a storm covered in mud, dirt & ick. And much more to her shoch the was all skin and bones. Linda felt her heart break for the poor little animal. He was so tiny and helpless too. "Oh, you poor little thing." Linda said gently picking up the little dog.
The kids were surprised by the little puppy as well. "Awe, where did that scruffy little thing come from?" Gene cooed at the little thing. Linda checked for a collar.
Huh there wasn't run only a faded pink ribbon around its neck, and the poor little thing looks like it hadn't had a bath for weeks. "I don't know Gene, come on kids let's get this little one inside can't leave it out here all alone plus we don't want Little King Trashmouth and his husband thinking it's a rat."
Quickly the trio went inside the restaurant with Linda finding a little box and towel to put the puppy in to make it comfy. As they were checking over the little one Bob had just finished up the last chore before closing. He immediately noticed the puppy. "Ummm Lin, kids what's going on here, and why is there a little dog in a box?"
Before Linda could explain she noticed through the large widow Tina had returned. "Hey look it's Tina! I can't wait to show her our new little guest, I wonder how her date with Jimmy Jr went...hey who's that? That ain't Jimmy Jr." Linda said confused as did the others. Curiously they looked out the small order/pick window to see who was with her. She was still talking to the mysterious stranger with the biggest smile on her face. "Huh... That's strange who's that with Tina?" "Beats me but he has a cool look!" "Where's Pesto Jr.?"
"Did he not show up? Oh, Bob what if he did dump her, dang it I'm going to give that Petso kid a piece of my mind." Linda said anger in her voice nobody hurts her baby’s heart and gets away with it. But Bob stopped her before she could go into momma bear mode.
"Hold your horses Lin, who knows what happened but look at Tina...she looks happy for some reason?" He reasoned motioning towards his eldest talking to the strange teen with.
Come to think of it, it was a bit strange.
Tina was smiling and laughing with the guy. Usually when she was upset about Jimmy she would groan and moan for hours on end about. But this was totally different as they continued to witness the unexpected exchange between the stranger and their daughter they suddenly caught a sweet moment as the young boy gently took Tina's hand and placed a soft gentle kiss against her knuckles.
Then he quickly fished out what seemed to be a pen for Tina to write on his arm as she wrote down her phone number.
Tina's face turned a soft shade of pink as she blushed with a sheepish smile. They gazed into each other's eyes as the rest of the family thought it was sweet. "Thanks for the date, Jano, I really hope to see you again soon." Tina said as they shared a warm hug.
"Shí dóʼ Tina, I agree, how about tomorrow or whenever you're free this week?" Jano replied with a kind smile that reached his sharp handsome cheekbones that Tina grew to really like whenever he smiled. "Of course want to definitely," with that they said their final goodbye as Jano headed off to his destination towards home. Waving goodbye until he turn the corner leaving a smiling blushing Tina as she gently hugged her new unicorn.
After a few minutes of feeling pure bliss, Tina went inside the restaurant to greet her family and help with any chores that needed to get done. "Hey family, I'm back."
After a few minutes of feeling pure bliss, Tina went inside the restaurant to greet her family and helped out with any chores that needed to be done. "Hey family, I'm back."
The rest of the Belcher family came out from the back kitchen to greet her and ask some interesting questions.
Including their new little guess 'the puppy'.
"Tina, honey, I thought you were on a date?" Linda asked then suddenly Tina swallowed a lump in her throat. "Well, I was but Jimmy junior dumped me." She said her eyes were not meeting the others.
She hugged the stuff unicorn tight bringing a soothing comfort. "He never even bothered to show up to explain why in person, texting you that there is somebody else that would make him truly happy and that we can still be friends."
