"Ah... Not yet... Though you may wish to visit my home... I am not able to cope well, knowing what happened to your uncle there at my own hands... I promise you though, some day I will take you there..." She closed her eyes with a sigh afterwards, knowing that she couldn't avoid going back forever.

"Mom look!" Morgan waved at Say'ri and was now a Swordmaster. "I'm a great swordswoman like you now! Next I'm going to be a great tactician like dad!"

"That will require much dedication, Morgan. Are you capable of taking on such a task? Your father is very advanced in his knowledge of tactics, and it could take years. If you do try to follow in his footsteps though, I shall be with you if you need me." Say'ri smiled, proud of her child in her progress so far, but hoping that she wouldn't push herself too much trying to be like her father.

"hey mom, how come dad's all afraid all the time?" the child asked, tilting his head, ears flopping to one side. "he beat grima with the shepherds didn't he? but he still always runs away! grandma's way braver!" ((i blanked on another 1st gen male so. here's an au where say'ri hooked up with yarne :u ))

"I... Honestly do not know as to why he is always so afraid..." Say'ri sighed, before shaking her head. "You may have to ask him yourself, but... I wouldn't ask him suddenly, you may make him more scared than usual..."

kid meme: "mom! mom, look!" the child tugged her sleeve impatiently. "it's here!" he waved his hand and there indeed it was. on the back of his palm was the mark of the exalt. "now i can use falchion and be a king right?" he asked excitedly.

"You may have to wait before becoming a king, my child..." Say'ri sighed, before looking at his hand. "Well, so you do have the brand... But don't take advantage of having it, right? You don't want to seem selfish or rude, do you? Now, go and have some fun."

"mama mama! look!" the child ran up to Say'ri, waving his arms in the too large coat. "im dad now! im the leader of the shepherds!" no knowing how he got his father's cloak, but he certainly seemed to have fun wearing it.

"You seem to have much fun, pretending to be your father, don't you?" Say'ri smiled at her child, before ruffling his hair. "Yes, you are the leader of the shepherds, if you so wish it to be true. Are you having just as much fun as I think that you are?"

So... I could potentially be a lot more distracted than I hoped to be in terms of trying to return to being active on tumblr... I'll have my (good, despite me making it sound bad here) reason below the cut!

Put simply, I've recently gave birth to my sweet little daughter Crissie!

You see... a few weeks before my late husband Caleb's sudden death in November last year... I feel pregnant with Crissie. To be honest, she is one of the only reasons other than some of my friends that I didn't fall into any deeper depression than what I was already suffering with last year. And she is also one of the only things which I have left of Caleb, so I want to stay happy and look after her as best as I can!
