I tend to draw my OCs, the OCs of my friends, and whatever else I'm currently obsessed with. One day my characters may have their own published stories, but for now, they live only in my head and through the snippets I share with you.

WHAT PULLS THEM TOGETHER?

They've each been through a lot, and they're tired of running. They don't know if they'll ever know each other's full story, but they don't pry. It's rare to find someone so free of judgement—or at least willing to turn a blind eye (pun not intended) to make things work.

WHAT PUSHES THEM APART?

Their lifestyles are still so different especially once Stan sets off with Ford. Cherry still does her solo missions as a ghostbuster demonbrawler exorcist...but once she and Stan are in the same room again, they're obnoxiously inseparable. Making up for lost time seems to be a recurring theme.

DESCRIBE THE MEET-CUTE.

After making it back from a job gone wrong, a bewildered Cherry finds it's been over a decade since anyone has seen or heard from her—time was clearly flowing differently when she was being tortured in a demonic dimension. Disoriented, she finds herself once more at the Mystery Shack. With a shock of white hair and an eye missing, she is unrecognizable to Stan, especially when she's barely aged at all, and time hasn't been so kind to him. He's distrustful at first, but helps her acclimate to her new setting. Unfortunately, she has little information for him on opening portals. Not with science, anyway.

4/1 — It's the April Fool!

Conveniently, her birthday lines up with the twins visiting Gravity Falls for spring break!? Mabel was so sure Stan was going to "gift" Cherry the title of Graunty that she managed to convince Dipper. It didn't happen.

*I'm going to say that Ford is taking the photo and that he's not just missing because I wasn't sure where to fit him in. Or Soos for that matter. Or anyone else.

In an uncertain world, they're a comforting constant. They both know the other is a series of secrets that can't be told, and that's fine. For now, it's enough to have someone who "gets" it—more or less.

They're at totally different places in life, and both using MULTIPLE aliases/disguises. They've run into each other numerous times since they were teenagers...without ever realizing it! So, they keep starting things over and over again. Is this what they call fate?

He was living in his car and nursing his drink at a bar. Something about him felt familiar. She was weak for pathetic guys and invited him to her place. He'd seen her turn down several guys and couldn't guess her game, but the idea of a real bed that night was irresistible. Confusion set in when she led him to the kitchen...then grilled him a simple ham & cheese sandwich. She pointed out that his stomach had been rumbling all night. He nearly cried.
