Dealing with your ANXIETY:
•Colour or draw, let your mind run free. Draw what’s making you stressed or something which makes you happy. Use your favourite colour to make it extra good!
•Listen to some calming music or something by your favourite artist. If you play an instrument play your favourite song or learn a new song to distract you.
•Dance. Use the stress to put your emotions together and create a dance to a song that makes you feel better or explains how you feel.
•Watch your favourite movie or something heartfelt.
•Sit in a dark room and count as high as you can or name as many shades of your favourite colours as you can.
•Play a game, count as many of a certain object as you can.
•Organise something. Wether it’s your closet into colour order etc or your stuffies in size order.

counting helps, little or not. point to inanimate objects and ask them to count each one. (ie: cars, doors, windows, etc) focusing on something small makes the bigger issues go away for a second

Sometimes everything gets too much and sometimes you don’t know how to explain it to people because it hurts. Everyone is going through something but at the end of the day only you understand you. And that’s okay. Sometimes we don’t understand everything we feel. And that’s also okay. It’s normal.
