Thank you so much to everyone who donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity in memory of Nadia Miragliotta. Raising £1,191.70 to help children suffering from life threatening bowel conditions.

Thank you to everyone who contributed their money and time to this worthy cause and showing support to the Miragliotta family after their tragic loss. Nadia was described as little ray of sunshine and will be remembered by friends and family for her kind heart, beaming smile and sparkling blue eyes.

With just 499 miles left of our Charity Cycle, we thought we best dress the part as the finish line is now in sight!!!

Sunday Funday!!

So I am very pleased to report that yesterday the sun was shining and the cider was flowing as Favershams St Georges Day celebrations got underway.

Raising money for our Charity Cycle in Memory of Nadia Miragliotta we created a fantastic raffle filled with all things weird and wonderful. An overflowing stall of cuddly toys for sale with some furry creatures going to new homes and of course an event isn’t an event without face painting!!

Painting beautiful little girls Grace, Lily and Sophia as butterflies in pastel pinks, seaside blues and lots of sparkling gems! One of the highlights of the day was commandeering a man, whom after spending his afternoon waiting for his daughter to try on wedding dresses; had sought shelter in the local pub. On his stroll back down to meet the lovely bride to be, I convinced him it would be a great idea to have his face painted like a tiger! Surely the best state to find your father in, who has been missing for a few hours, is as an inebriated popular jungle creature!! :)

Oh hello you cheeky things :) it's Leah reporting in.

We've decided to put the bike outside in the sunshine today. We've raised £28.47 this afternoon from kind passers by. 

Every little helps :) 

I may have picked up the pace when a Jason Statham lookalike wandered past! I said in all of a fluster "Do you like my balloons"..he gave me 50p so I'm guessing he did! 

One lady thought I was peddling to keep the power going :) 

I have just cycled 19miles, hopefully I will look like Beyonce by the time we've finished!!
