He presses another kiss to Jimin’s cheek, a minor compromise to avoid getting him sick. He hums, brushing a few hairs from his husband's face. “Better. Don’t think it’s all the way there, but definitely better.” There’s only a slight scratch to his voice compared to the other night. The corner of his lips inch up in a smile as Jimin does his best to wake up further. It warms his heart knowing he switches up his sleep schedule to be here with him. “You do, but you’ll have to let go so I can get you a cup.” Which only results in them sitting a bit longer tucked close together. Not that he’s complaining. Even with a set of plans today, he’d be content to lie here all day with Jimin.
Yoongi manages to wiggle free before Jimin can be tempted to fall back asleep. “No pouts,” he says, holding out a warm mug of coffee. “‘m all yours.” Today and every day. But, especially today since there’s no performance. “Still thinking about the private onsen? Maybe we can sneak into town and walk around too.”
his pout deepens, limbs tightening around his husband till he's sure the other man can't breath. "let go? you want me to let go? first you don't kiss me and now this ..." he huffs — a little puff of breath pushing his bangs up and out of his face. his eyes slowly slip shut, comfortably wrapped around his husband till the warmth begins to pull away from him. he attempts a loud whine, narrowing his eyes at yoongi's words. "i better be all yours," he mumbles, taking the mug from his hands with a grin and a thank you. he takes a few sips, humming happily before setting it down on the side-table. "yeah? are you sure hyung? we can rest if you're tired. if you're feeling up to it we can do some shopping and get food somewhere nice? i have a list." he pulls out his phone, scrolling through the notes he'd saved on newer places they still hadn't visited. "or we can go to that sushi restaurant you liked last time?"
To my sun, happy birthday! I thought I'd be welcoming you to club thirty, but since our age law changed I guess you've got another year. If our days apart have shown me anything it's that I'm so grateful to have you in my life. Through the lows, you've become a guiding light. Here's to many more birthdays together, love.

A loud alarm snaps him from his bubble of thoughts—introspection inked onto paper. His husband doesn’t normally russle awake so early. The alarm only makes it through maybe two rounds of grating bells before his husband is sitting up. A small chuckle escapes his growing grin. Jimin always looks adorable when he wakes up, hair disheveled and sleep still lingering in his movements. Yoongi sets his journal on the side table and shuffles over to the bed. As much of a puppy personality his partner radiates, he looks similar to their cats asking for pets. He sits by Jimin’s side and presses a quick kiss to his forehead. It should be safe enough after the rest he got last night. “Morning. You know I would’ve let you sleep more,” he softly says, reaching for one of his hands.
his sleep addled frown deepens at the kiss pressed onto his forehead, jutting his chin forward in a silent ask for another kiss. jimin closes his fingers around yoongi's hand, yawning simultaneously. "how do you feel hyung? better? you look better." the urge to pull the older man into the warmth of their covers is overwhelming, but he resists, tightening his old on his hand instead.
with great effort he eventually pushes the comforter off himself, scooting forward to wrap all his limbs around his husband. his chin rests on yoongi's shoulder, pressing a kiss into his cheek with another suppressed yawn. "do i smell coffee?" he mumbles, sniffing the air with exaggeration. it's easy to fall into comfortable patterns when they're together. it almost entirely escapes his mind that they have limited time to spend.
