as stated above, this blog is independent, private, and selective. while primarily set in the arknights universe, i will write with ocs/multimuses/characters from other verses, but as of writing this, i have no intentions of making verses of perlica for other games. this can change if we discuss first, of course.

there will be spoilers here, obviously. i'll do my best to keep them tagged.

this blog is pretty minimalist and low activity. i work busy hours and don't really care much about icons/graphics/formatting. you may use whatever you'd like for your own replies, but please don't expect anything fancy from me. * if you've sent me an ask or it's my turn to reply and it's been more than a week, feel free to remind me, as i may have forgotten.

one thing i think abt a lot with perlica is like ... how afraid she is to be seen as 'unprofessional' when it comes to her every day activities. you know. like ... she worked really hard to become supervisor, worked hard to learn &&. grow &&. become someone that the endministrator could one day be proud of — but that also means pushing herself to her limit in the process. if she lets herself slack off for even a second in front of others, then she's not being efficient or a proper employee. she works through her breaks every day &&. probably wouldn't know 'rest' if it hit her in the face. she needs a day out fr.

stars. they burn, don’t they? and yet you still hold on. the flesh on your palms peels back, your fingers burning down to bone. your tissues char and break away, your blood boiling inside your hands. the heat rushes up to kiss your face and chest, a sunburn in the dark and yet–yet you hold on, because they are beautiful. it hurts, but you see only the beauty of the moment, none of the pain. all of that suffering is worth a few moments of brilliance, isn’t it?

@goldcerts ⭑.ᐟ — 01. tucks a blanket gently around the other person's shoulders. — "supervisor, you've been running back and forth across the bridge all day. it's all good to settle down and catch your breath, yeah?" alesh has been eyeing her whenever she'd flit on by, clearly in a rush. her and director qin certainly had a knack for carrying so much on their shoulders. "i'd say a good power nap could get you back on your feet, buuut, that's not like you." he smiles some. "how about i give you a hand, instead?"

there's, initially, no verbal reply from the liberi as the blanket is wrapped around her shoulders — it's like the warm material flips a switch inside of her brain, releasing some of the day's tension that's settled in her shoulders. wings flutter &&. relax upon her head as she lets out a soft sigh, placing her pen down &&. settling her palm against her forehead instead. it's true that not a second has been wasted since waking up early in the morning; no, there's too much to be done &&. little time to do it. deadlines &&. testing &&. expectations that make a scrambled list inside of her head — she's mastered the art of looking composed on the outside, but inside? sometimes, the office that is perlica's brain is on fire. ... of course, once said brain finally realizes what's going on ( &&. catches the tail end of alesh's words, ) she stiffens right back up with an embarrassed look on her face.

❛ o...operator alesh, ❜ perlica greets, &&. she clears her throat before turning to look over her shoulder at him. the way her cheeks flush at the realization that she so easily allowed herself to slip into something so unprofessional betrays her attempt at remaining calm. ❛ i'm alright, i assure you. today is just ... busier than usual, i suppose. i'm sure you must have your hands full with your own assignments. ❜ she makes no attempt to remove the blanket, though. if anything, she instinctively reaches up to tighten it around herself.
