Please Share. LGBTQ Teen Jewish resources save lives. You never know if one of your Facebook friends could use this important information.
JQY (Jewish Queer Youth) is a nonprofit organization supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) Jews and their families in the Orthodox community.
Our mission is to address the unique needs of frum* and formerly frum LGBT Jews. JQY is dedicated to cultivating a Jewish community where no one feels alone, bullied or silenced because of their orientation or gender identity. Special attention is given to youth, young adults and their families; however we have programs for all ages.
*Frum includes: Orthodox, Yeshivish, Chasidish, Sephardic, modern, and traditional Jewish identities.
Are you Bisexual? Bi-friendly? Queer or Questioning? and on Facebook? You are also invited to join us on: Bisexual People of Faith A community for bisexual people from all faith, religious, spiritual, spirit and wisdom traditions.
Eshel is another organization supporting observant and formerly Orthodox queer Jews and their families (including separate support groups for parents), and they have branches in many cities in North America (including Toronto, where I help organize, so totally reach out if you want to hear about our programs and/or be on our mailing list)
But also, not to detract from OP’s message: JQY does great work!

Two other great resources are Keshet, which does great work for LGBTQ Jews from all backgrounds, and Sephardic Mizrahi Q Network, which focuses specifically on LGBTQ Sephardi and Mizrachi Jews.

no wonder why steve fell in love with this guy at 16 years old
bucky wearing his wedding ring on his right hand (in line with jewish tradition) and steve wearing his wedding ring on his left hand so whenever they hold hands their rings touch

I really think the majority of the blackhill fandom doesn’t know stumptown exists
You can just go watch that show and see cobie smulders be hot and kiss multiple women for free like what are you waiting for
Sometimes I like to imagine the old, worn out US Marines sweatshirt Nat wore to bed every night because it still had the vague scent of a woman who'd disappeared before she could say "i love you." I think about the channel she kept open just incase she ever came back. It's an old frequency, sure, SHIELD had moved on after a few months. But Nat kept it live. Just in case. Just to be safe. I think about the endless nights spend at the shooting range, desperate to grasp the comfort it gave /her/ after a night plagued by ghosts. I think about how Nat truly tried to be the Commander the world needed to keep functioning.
But then I remember Nat won't get to see her again. And Maria will have to live with the knowledge that Nat saved her life.
And she'll never get to thank her
