System Intro -> Brightside Brigade (2026)
Welcome to the Brightside! I'm sure you've seen us around before, ever wanted to get to know some of us? (Pretend you didn't see our older intro post, it's a little outdated ok? This is the one for the 🌟 new year 🌟) Well now you can!!!
The Brightside Brigade is a trauma based, mixed origin system! (We are bodily 23! Please keep that in mind.)
Why mixed origin? - For multiple reasons (including comfort and our own well being!), but also the fact that despite the systems initial existence being traumagenic in nature, very few of us see ourselves as parts of the "original" mind or from this particular universe. Have a problem with that? Delete your minecraft world lmao.
(Note, the further we go down the list, the less info there will be! This is because we know more about some headmates than others. If an alter who was on the previous list isn't posted here, they are either dormant or MIA and will be added if they resurface)

Posts most often on this blog. Very friendly and loves to yap! Give them attention and affection! Ask him questions! Tell them nyas doing a good job!(You are not obligated to do this. He had several complexes and just sort of needs to hear these things sometimes.) WILL tell you all about Resident Evil if you aren't careful.

And now for; three fictives from a show we've never watched but they're here anyway and now the host is scared to actually watch it! AKA The plural gods cosmic joke on the host.
Homelander/HL (nothing else) - anger holder, personal protector, aggressor, persecuter-protector (kinda?), prosecutor, ect ect ect and the hosts in-sys partner :D

Not very friendly! May double down on his in source views if he thinks he's gotten "too vulnerable" or feels the need to lash out. Voted most likely to tell someone to off themselves. We apologize in advance. ^^" (He's like mostly nice to Jack and that's it.) You can still try to talk to him though.

Kevin/Kev (doesn't care, isn't pressed about names.) - Caretaker/Babysitter, Soother, potential shock absorber/stress holder [whatever the term for "guy who makes the emotional stress of memories go away" is]
He/Him (questioning using they/them as well!!)
Highly effected by system related barriers regarding internal happenings and terms.
Generally friendly and laid back, but gets frustrated easy (especially when he can't recall things about fish and whatever due to internal -> external knowledge not translating if it's not something learned bodily. Obviously the frustration is about more than the fish. Also gets frustrated with irl stuff easy.). Can't front alone or without a distraction because he gets anxious.
Still like that about marine life. Actually has little ear fins like a vaporeon! Listens to basic white girl music.
Butcher/Billy/William(derogatory)/"That fucker" and other variants(mostly said by Jack) - [ROLE UNKNOWN]
So much going on with him... (OUTDATED ANOMOLY LIST. SEE THIS POST FOR CURRENT. <ignore that it's an advice post.>)
Unknown fronting type( has taken front to essentially force feed the host/body a couple times. All other fronting incidents are unknown). Only fully present in the main headspace area under the circumstance of both Kev and HL being non-present.
Originally hard to observe directly, usually with some sort of fog (weather literal or mental) around him. Being around him can cause headaches, nausea, and dizziness in other headmates and the body, but not always (this has been getting less severe for the host.)
Occasionally appears damaged or slightly rotting - common anomalies in appearance include burn scars/fresh looking burns, exposed jawbone, missing left eye (left eye usually appears damaged in some capacity, particularly fully whited out or dulled). Rarely has canine like ears and tail. All of these are varying in frequency of occurrence, and he also can just appear as normal. Usually accompanied or proceeded by the smell of smoke and alcohol and occasionally the slight smell of rot.
Seems to live in the forest area of the headspace. Can be heard whistling sometimes. (At least it's assumed to be him.) Host is incredibly standoffish with him despite him showing no physical hostilities though he does seem to like mildly antagonizing the host(or maybe just trying to get closer, has recently has had semi frequent co-con incidents)
You do not recognize the bodies in the water.
Well, that's that section of fictives done. With that out of the way, here are the rest. Information will get more scarce here.
Dogday - internal mediator(?)
Passive observer - Co fronts to watch the world, but not to talk.
Very outgoing and wants to be everyones best friend, even if they don't feel the same. (HL in particular does not feel the same.). Usually hangs around Aster, but talks about missing the other Critters. Pup likes to try and mediate fights between other headmates.
Source divorced Collector fictive. Can put others in "time out" if need be. Used to be allowed to front, currently not allowed to due to speaking like they're in a COD Lobby. We've been working to curb this. So far no progress.
Amalgam/Mal - unknown role
Fronts rarely, does tasks no one else wants. Friendly, laid back. Humanized animatronic. Still trying to figure itself out.
Formerly a fragment trying to be Mangle, then fused with the idea of Movie! Michael.
Chee - internal caregiver
Doesn't front/internal only
Oldest alter currently known (present before host switch to Jack.)
Sweet, patient. Maternal/sisterly. Nature lover.
N - internal librarian/memory keeper
Doesn't front/internal only
Keeps a library somewhere in headspace with the systems memories. Can help get alters important information for fronting on a need-to-know basis if for some reason they don't get the collective memories pertaining to said information.
