Always remember;

There is nothing inherently wrong with being plural.

There is nothing inherently wrong with wanting to be plural.

There is no wrong way to be plural.

Plurality is a framework and concept, no one owns it no matter what they scream their little heads off about.

Traumagenic plurality is beautiful.

Nontraumagenic plurality is beautiful.

Created plurality is beautiful.

Every plurals existence is important and part of something beautiful, be it survivorship, companionship, creativity or even spite.

The future is plural, and will always be.

#Pluronomy

What's pluronomy, you ask?

Simple! It's a combination of the words plural and autonomy.

It's the belief that you have the right to do what you want with your plurality as an extension of bodily autonomy, mental autonomy, and autonomy of beliefs.

I've seen folks say things like willing more alters and elaborating on fragments is bad because it's "worsening symptoms", that introjects need to source separate or source interact, that you need to see yourselves a certain way, that certain headmates and alters need to be treated a certain way, ect ect ect.

Pluronomy says to that "not your system, not your choice!" Pluronomy says do whatever you& want. This term is for folks who want more headmates, want to engage with that source in a fucky way. Those syskids and littles who don't want to be coddled, those in-sys relationships that are just reenactments that don't want to break up. Those "harmful" headmates who don't want to "get better". This term is for YOU!!!

It can also fall under the Mad pride and Mad punk movements for CDD having plurals and other disordered plural friends.

This term and is pro willo, pro endo, ect, but anyone can use it because gatekeeping terms is lame as hell.

"They're giving themselves more amnesia!" Okay. Not your business.

When people take issue with how you handle your system, you can simply reply with these four simple words;

"Are you a cop?"

Some antis will pride themselves on being anti ableist but the second they see someone having an episode they jump immediately to "eeerrrmmm you need to get offline".

Obviously there's plenty that aren't like this, but there's still a good handful of them that are compassionate only in name and only if they like you.

Remember, no matter what side you may fall on, everyone deserves their space to speak and exist! If your compassion stops when someone inconveniences you, you need to work on yourself. Of course, that's not to say you aren't allowed to feel uncomfortable! You're alive! You're allowed to feel things! But remember, you have to take care of you, and there's plenty of ways to do that without being unkind. You can use the block button, you can filter tags, you can even go do something else! But don't be a bad mental health ally just because youre being inconvenienced or annoyed.
