the way people talk about reanimal cut content is very upsetting to me. the amount of people who believe that the story used to be "easy to understand" but they cut most of the game is so frustrating. 80% of the cut content comes from at least 3 different versions of the story that didn't work. even if they do understand that most of what was cut was from a different story, a handful of them are still gonna think that the ending where the boy gets killed by his friends and they get dragged into hell by his Scary Vengeful Ghost sister and he gets to go to a treehouse in heaven is better than what we got.

i'm not saying that all of the cut content sucks bad. there's a handful of stuff that i think would've worked well in the full release. what does suck bad is glossing over or disregarding what makes reanimal incredible in favor of things that were binned for good reason.
