I’ve been thinking about it for a while bc anytime I go to reorganize this blog I get overwhelmed plus I’ve been wanting to merge my main blog with this one and think the best way to do so is making a fresh blog🙂↕️ Over the next few weeks I will reuploading my fav fics from this blog onto that one (and hopefully put out some new writing loll). I don’t plan on deleting this blog or anything, but all future updates will be on my new one!

you’ve known suguru for a long time
you grew up in the same village, spent your days hiding under tavern tables and stealing adventurers’ maps and running around with makeshift swords
it was always suguru’s dream to be an adventurer, but the tavern to you had always felt like home. the smell of fresh food, the lively chatter, the bards that come in to perform (and the adventurers that stop through on their way)
when you’re old enough and have some coin saved up, you buy that village tavern. suguru helps you carve it out into a notable establishment — a lively place to eat, rest, and pass through on an adventure
suguru lands himself an adventuring apprenticeship, and while he sometimes comes and goes he always comes back to your tavern for a great meal and some time to rest (and of course, to see you)
“suguru! how was your trip?”
“spent most of it wishing you were there, but it was good. what’s on the menu tonight?”
“your favorite, of course.”
“great! i’ll save us a table, tell your staff you’re off for the night.”
you’re getting quite experienced collecting and handing out quests to adventurers that come through, and your business is booming
suguru’s adventuring career is taking off too, every new quest becoming longer and more exciting. he always comes back worn, but with that tired smile you so adore
even so, as much as you adore your establishment, the ever-growing time between suguru’s visits has made it seem a little lonely. he’s off going places and you’re beginning to feel a little stuck
well, if he can travel, who said you can’t? it’s time to get innovative
you decide to leave your most trusted staff in charge and pack up your essentials — you’re taking this tavern on the road!
plenty of merchants travel and sell their goods on the go, so you decide you can do the same slinging out meals and quests on the road
this method proves to be quite successful, business on the road being very profitable. you meet hordes of cool people who line up outside your stands for some good stew or pot pie, coupled with some leads on an enchanted sword or haunted cave
it’s going great! …so why do you still miss suguru so much?

you whip around, nearly toppling over an iron skillet, and find geto leaning across the wooden counter of your present stand
“suguru!”
he laughs, smiling widely. he looks older, more confident. your best friend incarnate. the most ultimate love of your life
you hurry around the counter to fling yourself into his arms, not caring if your pot boils over or the fire under the pan goes out
“genius idea, by the way. could you use some help by any chance? maybe you could put in a good word to the owner of the establishment for me.”
“well, two heads would be better than one. i’ve got a good lead for a new quest, too.”
“perfect. i’d follow you to the ends of the earth.”

Whatever you do, don’t think about your f/o in the pining stage before you two get together. Them sneaking glances at you which turn into stares because they just can’t help themselves. Thinking about you when they’re trying to sleep at night, holding a plushie and imagining it’s you instead. Oh what they wouldn’t give to hold you like that…
When they finally get a chance to talk to you, they’re soooo nervous that they’re stumbling over their words trying to think straight. It’s just so hard to focus when they’re trying to not get lost in yours eyes. During the conversation they say anything even if it’s silly just to keep it going. When it’s over they’re already missing you. They can’t wait to talk to you again. In the meantime, they’ll be hoping it eventually turns in something more.
mmm camzai on the brain <33 we usually opt for easy and quick meals for dinner but once a month I carve out time to cook a very elaborate meal for us and he's in charge of picking out dessert (usually black forest cake) and we enjoy it all in our pajamas before taking a gummy and watching a movie in bed (our asses are not paying attention to the movie)
