Volt holding onto the thing he cherishes most.
I haven’t posted in a few months, so enjoy some Cryptid Omens.
I feel like “A Burning Memory” Should be playing while looking at this.
A little more abstract than usual for Stardust.
I forgot about this piece I did on Halloween.
Principality, Aziraphale, Guardian of The Eastern Gate, and The Original Tempter, Crowley, Serpent of Eden.
(Version with color and without the color)
Wanted to do some traditional art.
A little piece I did inspired by Franz Ferdinand's Take Me Out music video, and riso print. Did a little animation on the second slide, because I felt doodling around in After Effects.
A lovely piece to end pride month with. Hope you all had a great pride month!
Part 2 of the Good Omens Horror AU that no one asked for, but I’m still going to do. Now with Beelzebub and Jimbriel.
What a fitting time to be posting this months #MentalIllnessAlbumCover at the start of Mental Health Awareness month.
This month is Generalized Anxiety Disorder. I took a little inspiration from Korn’s Follow The Leader album for the front and Green Day’s American Idiot album for the back. I apologize for there being no Korn or Green Day songs on this list. They’ll most likely be in a future one.
This one is really personal to me. Generalized Anxiety Disorder is characterized for excessive, ongoing anxiety that is difficult to control and interferes with day-to-day life.
(According to the Mayo Clinic) Some symptoms may include:
. Persistent worrying or anxiety about a number of things that are out of proportion to the impact of events
. Overthinking plans or solutions to all the possible worst-case outcomes
. Perceiving situations and events as threatening, even when they aren’t
. Difficulty handling uncertainty
. Indecisiveness and fear of making the wrong decision
. Inability to set aside or let go of a worry
. Inability to relax, feeling restless, and feeling keyed up or on edge
. Difficulty concentrating, or the feeling that your mind goes blank
The songs I’ve gathered are ones I personally relate with my anxiety disorder, ones I’ve seen on various anxiety/vent playlists, and ones people with GAD have recommended to me.
I love that 1940s swing dancing era.
Here’s some pen and ink 1941 Aziracrow to hold you over until the next GO Horror post.
Happy Trans Visibility Day from your favorite trans masc! (I know this is a day late, but don’t focus on that. Focus on the art)!
You know what? Eldritch horrors your Good Omens.
Concept art for a Good Omens horror AU that no one asked for, but I wanted to make. I’ll most likely continue doing this for other characters.
I'm kind of revitalizing an old series I did called Mental Illness Album Covers. It was a series I did a couple years ago where I would make album covers of these various mental disorders to bring attention to them. I would also research songs that would fit with the disorder. I stopped for a while, but I wanted to bring this back. I’ll probably put a new one out once a month in-between other projects.
As someone with depression, this one was a bit personal. You essentially feel like a ghost at times walking around. You're there but you aren't. Just wondering through life, sometimes not even feeling anything, just feeling numb, as you pass by other people. With depression, there's a thing called masking. It's where you put on a facade to let others think you're ok when you're not. You put on a mask of happiness just to hide what you're feeling from other people.
“Death inspires me like a dog inspires a rabbit.”
Twenty One Pilots dropped their new song, Overcompensate, a few days ago. I’ve been playing the song on repeat and got inspired to make this; taking inspiration from their Clancy album cover and lyrics from one their older songs.
The 4th and final post for #funguary2024 . This week’s theme was Cryptic with the Icing Sugar Fungus.
This lady appears to be related to the illusive MothMan (most likely a cousin). It’s been said she appears every Blood Moon peering out over the land for something (no one knows what). The fungus has been spreading over her body for sometime to where she’s become one with it. Various stories have been said of townspeople who entered the forest, only to never return. No one knows if this is true or not but the various white statues in the forest might give an indicator.
Here’s Edible for week 3 of Funguary. The fungus he’s based on is actually my favorite fungus, the ink cap.
It’s hard to tell if his insanity came from the black liquid (that he claims to be tea) he drinks on a consistent basis, or the giant garish bite on his body that had refused to heal. One thing is for certain is that he’s slowly losing his mind, and he’ll eventually die from it.
