I'm back again with Muse!Stan Stancest.
If Bill is still someone how able to see Ford at all, I know he is losing his mind seeing how his pet has found someone else to obsess over. He's not JEALOUS, DON'T BE RIDICULOUS!!! ((He's seething in rage during craft time and breaking every crayon in sight.))
The "Stan Journal" is a popular idea but I want to take it a step further. Ford completely replaces everything triangle in the house to Stan's symbol (The Fish /and Coin) That means the window in the attic, the rug in the gift shop, even the smallest details in the wood grain were sanded down and recurved. Stan finally had to stand in when Ford wanted to reconstruct the house into a curve. The boat is no better, but Ford is able to get away with it more. Fish symbols all of their decor, stained glass fish in the windows, bed sheets, rugs, little soaps, plates, hair clips. Everything is golden or brass with red accents. He loves being surrounded by Stan even when he isn't around. No matter what, that symbol is Stan, just like the 6 fingered hand is his. The only place he wants his symbol is on Stan himself.
He has no intention of owning Stan, he wants to be owned by Stan. It's to the point where he has considered lasering Stan's signature on his blood cells. Stan talked him down by stating that Ford already shares his DNA to the highest degree (identical twins) and no matter what, that will never go away or be replaced when blood cells eventually die or leave.
Following this, Ford is big into their shared DNA love story. He waxes poetry about being made for each other, looks into mythos and proverbs about twins, love, and connection. He reminds Stan constantly that in some beliefs, they could have been lovers in another life that committed suicide in order to live together happily and has even considered doing it again just for the chance to reincarnate as twins once more, as no other iteration would surpass what they are now.
Because they are connected to a prophecy, Ford does have convoluted ideas that their love story surpasses all others in terms of importance and significance. They aren't just a pair of lovers or twins, they are so much more, which makes Ford's devotion to Stan even more special. They aren't two people in love, they are two pivotal beings of time, space, and the greater universe. Nothing can compare to Stan to Ford because no one is as special.
Ford isn't wearing rose-colored sunglasses. He has dyed his pupils permanently pink. Even when he is upset with Stan, it's like being upset with a animal. He can not stay mad even if he tried, it's not in his nature. It does make Stan nervous because Ford is simply ignoring or gliding over obviously large problems and issues because of his obsession. It makes having tough conversations hard as Ford is a self-flagellator.
Yandere Ford. Ford has no problems causing mayhem and destruction when someone tries it with Stan. Stan kind of liked it but the lack of concern in Ford makes him nervous to be around him.
Stan is scared of Ford but would never tell him that. Their love story, while true, is not pure. Ford is an over obsessed lover boy with tendencies for violence and delusions and Stan is his muse, whether he likes it or not.
I need more Sugar Baby Ford and Sugar Daddy Stan except Ford is the only one who recognizes the dynamic and never wants to tell Stan.
I feel like a younger Ford would have fantasied about having financial power over Stan for his sexual fantasies. Making Stan his sugar baby, treating him right, getting all the perks and benefits of having someone on his arm like that. The fact that it would take him forever to climax while thinking about that dynamic was irrelevant. He just believed he was a perfectionist and if the scenario wasn't right in his head than he couldn't cum.
Cut to the present where Ford has no income and all of their adventures are being funded out of Stan's pocket. He had a substantial amount of money saved from penny pitching, stealing, dealing, and every other shortcut he could find to make and save money. At first, Ford didn't recognize it. Their purchases were for their benefit. The boat, the supplies, food, first aid, navigational equipment. Ford would note what needed to be bought and Stan was there ready to take care of it.
But then Ford realizes he wants something. Not need, want.
And for the first time in a long time, he realizes he can't just steal and run. He's not dimension hopping anymore. He's not an outlaw anymore. He's not an innocent but he knows that his choices here, as a permanent fixture, are different. He has to ask Stan for the money to buy it.
He dreads it. The very idea of groveling and asking for money from his brother. But he does because he really wants this item. He steals himself for the humiliation, the taunting, the jokes. But they don't come. Stan hands him the money and tells him to get him a pack of smokes on the way back.
Ford leaves there shook. He goes and buys himself his thing and gets Stan pack of smokes. When he comes back, he gives Stan the change and without looking, Stan gives him a kiss to the cheek.
"Thanks, baby. Did you get what you wanted?"
And oh does it do something to him.
Him? Baby? Not only did he get want he wanted, he got what he didn't know he needed.
That night, Ford rides him to the moon and back, cumming twice just remembering Stan's words, the control, the ease of Stan taking care of him, the little command at the end. It's everything.
Ford keeps it close to not let Stan know about his little discovery. The natural way that Stan treated him today was so good that no other way could compare.
that's ONE way to get him to confess
xtra
Wonder what they could be wanting to say to each other…
if the stans had become famous surgeons

Weird Fantasy (1950) #18 written by Al Feldstein and drawn by Joe Orlando, with editor Bill Gaines
So he said it can't be a Black. So I said, "For God's sakes, Judge Murphy, that's the whole point of the Goddamn story!" So he said, "No, it can't be a Black". Bill just called him up and raised the roof, and finally they said, "Well, you gotta take the perspiration off". I had the stars glistening in the perspiration on his Black skin. Bill said, "Fuck you", and he hung up.

Just to add context for those not aware of the impact of this story.
The reason it was so important for narrative purposes, was that the plot concerns the visit of the Astronaut, in his completely opaque spacesuit, to a planet populated entirely by self-aware robots (originally from Earth) who have built their own society and are petitioning to be allowed to interact with Earth again as equals.
They have a democratic government and free choice of careers etc. as the orange robot serving as guide tells the Astronaut.
The Astronaut notices that there are two different types of robot on this world; the orange ones, who are in charge, gifted access to all information and facilities. and the blue robots, who are seen as more limited in function, have less access to information and resources, and are not allowed positions of power or as wide a choice of employment opportunities. Even transportation is segregated.
The Astronaut investigates further and discovers that the blue and orange robots are actually structurally identical, there is absolutely no difference between their potential or capabilities, and it is only because the orange robots are instructed by their Educator system to consider themselves superior, that the difference exists.
The Astronaut tells the robots they are not ready for re-alignment with Earth, until they come to terms with their own unfairness, and how Earth had had to deal with this issue themselves. When that time comes, the robots will be able to ally with Earth.
Then he leaves in his spaceship, and it's only in that one final panel that we see the Astronaut is black.
Not subtle, nor should it be, but for 1950 this was a breathtakingly powerful statement, perhaps the first of it's kind in the genre.
The black character was not a caricature, or comedy relief, he was a main character in his own right, a human who "simply" was black.
When I was a professor I fucking LOVED teaching this comic. You can read the full thing here (and please read the letters to the editor at the bottom as well—including a message from Ray Bradbury).

This audio popped up on my fyp on TikTok and I genuinely could not stop laughing and it gave me the wonderful idea to draw these two. I recently got back into Gravity Falls so I thought it’d be a fun side quest to do something with it!! Anyways enjoy :) (psstt, its also on my TikTok: sc4.3)
so, on this page bill says that there is ONE timeline where the pines twins didnt die, get grievously injured, or otherwise removed from gravity falls before they turned 13.
in your opinion, is he telling the truth?
yes, there's just one timeline where they stuck around the whole summer
kind of, he's exaggerating but there were a very limited number of timelines*
no, he's lying to seem powerful/knowledgeable/xyz other reason
nuance/other
see results
*= where they stuck around the whole summer
actually instead of dipper taking the apprenticeship he shouldve gone with stan and ford on the stan o war II so he can get double teamed
The barcode in The Book of Bill comes up as "HEY NERD" when scanned
