NEITHER: Healed injuries and burns, congenital differences, missing appendages, etc. If I could theoretically go to the store and see that character browsing the isles- It isn't body horror or gore. That's just a person. *AND the amount of people that tag, not just fictional characters, but real human beings as body horror is staggering. Its not solely a fandom issue, ableism and bigotry against anyone that looks sufficiently "different" is prevalent in real life and has devastating consequences.

AND acquired differences + disabilities are also not body horror.
Real people are not body horror.
If you are uncomfortable or scared because someone looks different than you that is YOUR PROBLEM. It is your responsibility to get over it, or at the very least not make it everyone else's issue. Play the quiet game.

Episode 3 was 53 minutes long
Episode 4 was with an 18+ rating (no idea why, "I fell asleep" in the dream before I watched it)
Episode 1 had an introduction song in the very beginning (within 2 minutes of the start of the episode, dare I say opened with the song right after the intro)
Vox gets his body back within the first episode
In Episode 1 Charlie, and I think Vaggi, go to confront... Vox, I think that was the point, they go to Vee Tower for reasons, but they end up meeting up with Valentino and tablet Vox, introduction song ensues. Vox might have gotten his body back during the song. There's a shot from the room taken from the ceiling's bottom left corner, the color palette is either super pink or leaning more rusty orange

There was something about meat in episode 3... Or the Hotel crew had a meal together... I don't remember, all I remember was meat being important, maybe Alastor killed and ate someone???
Episode 2 was the StaticMoth episode, they had a song together, it might have involved a flashback from around the time they met, BUT overall Episode 2 was somehow the most boring episode out of the first three

I can read in my dreams but this one was just blurry because, again, I was "falling asleep". The plot of my dream was that I was watching the show in bed

Point being is I find this far more overtly agressive than a moment later when Alastor is back in the chair. Partly because Vox seems to think this whole thing worked. Alastor dosn't say anything untill he is firmly back in his chair.
The irony being this is porbaly Alastor positively reinforcing keeping him in the chair. He is interrupting Vox but also giveing him the atention he craves even if its negative atention. The more overtly sexal Vox acts the less Alastor talks and the more they build this werid dynamic that they have while Alastor is captive.

Something I find odd in how the fandom reacted to Vivianne saying "Valentino doesn't understand consent" is how this is the same fandom that loves to headcanon that "Val would be into anything." I've seen so many people saying Valentino can't be whumped because he's a slutty freak and he'd probably enjoy it (especially for scenarios that are downright noncon). As if... that isn't the exact way Valentino views Angel? "But he deserves it anyway!" Aaaaaand that's exactly the type of mindset Valentino has when abusing Angel. In his mind he doesn't consider it abuse at all; and Angel is down for anything anyway he's just being difficult today, right? So it's not noncon. (<Valentino's mindset). It's just interesting how this mentality can exist in the same room with people getting mad that Valentino supposedly doesn't understand consent. I would also say Valentino doesn't understand consent even when it comes to himself but I don't think we're ready for that talk.

Whether he is or isn't into those kinks, it doesn't matter, because even the most mild, "vanilla" thing can be horrific if done wrong/nonconsensually. So no, neither Val nor Angel aren't into everything just because their careers are centered around sex and their language is lewd. They're still human beings who have boundaries and like every living thing they need them respected.
And, after the scene mentioned above, VAL is the one who went to mend things with Vox in When I think about the future. He was mad at him for a while, but in the end he was ready to move past it as though it's habitual, as though it happens often. He's more emotionally vulnerable than people realize, both the characters and the fandom. He probably doesn't even realize his boundaries were being crossed and just thought Vox was being an ass. And it's extra bittersweet when we consider his past was probably even worse and Vox/the Vees are his safe space.

Valentino is not only himself but also the audience at the same time. We see him just befor the backflash listening to Alastor air out Vox's dirty Landry then agin at the very end of DYFR. The implications being he was watching it all intently.
Him going from indifferent to invested is so good. Like look at the end he is haveing a good time. I say the whole song is from his POV because we get these long frankly sexualizeing shots that you don't see anywhere else in the show. This makes scence when you consider this is the only time we sit in Val's POV.
Moments befor Vox and Alastor are framed in this funflaterly light. It is very overt how werid and creepy Vox is being.
Then were in Val's POV and it's well hot. Like this sceen is so effective that Val can say at the end "you two should just fuck all ready" and have people agree. HE LITTERLY TRUNS TO THE AUDIENCE AND BREAKS THE 4TH WALL.
"What? Am I wrong?" Not looking at them at us. Which is litterly nudging the audience to be like "Hey Val is usually wrong maybe question that."
