— Say us something, Géronda ! — What can I say ? — What your heart is telling you. — My heart is telling me to take a knife, to cut this heart in pieces, to share it to the whole world and then die.
Saint Païsios the Athonite, With Pain & Love for Contemporary Man
Saint Paisios and Olet, his little friend.
The name "Olet" itself is significant, being Arabic for "child". Saint Paisios himself marveled at Olet's "asceticism"—referring to the bird's self-forgetfulness, detachment, and obedience. He humbly expressed his desire to emulate these qualities, asking the nuns to "pray that I may imitate his virtues".
"At my kalyvi I not only have birds of the air, but all the animals come here, and I am satisfied myself when they are satisfied, and all of us together, the beasts, the cattle, the birds and the reptiles: Praise, Bless, and Worship the Lord."
Saint Paisios, pray for us!
The darkest days are when God’s light shines the brightest.
Jesus called for them and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs.” • Luke 18:16, NRSV

The entire observable universe looks familiar...
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy upon me the sinner ☦️☦️☦️
I remember how a lot of people would say "I don't know yet, therefore God" is a lazy excuse... but really, "I don't know yet, therefore science" is not only a lazy excuse as well, but a pretty bleak one too... There's no real reason the two cannot co-exist - After all, would the omnipotent creator not be an artist, director, engineer, physicist, chemist, all in one as well? A house doesn't just pop into existence randomly, even if we did not observe the architect building it...
Very well said @emptywaters. I remeber I have found this quote randomly, I will paste it here for the records:
“When a Russian cosmonaut returned from space and reported that he had not found God, C. S. Lewis responded that this was like Hamlet going into the attic of his castle and looking for Shakespeare.” –Timothy Keller, The Reason for God (New York: Dutton, 2008), 122.
