So does anyone else think that Miss Information was a twist villain in her game (like the tutorial character becomes the villain)? Or do you think syntax randomly picked her up and she decided to just hard commit to the bit?

Personally, I think that Fold and Miss Information were specifically recruited because they were hint systems on their home worlds. Who better to help the heroes win than living tool tips?

Also, compare Miss Information to Nell, the tutorial character from the Advance Wars series (the reboot of which Arin voice acted in) and I think you'll find she's cut from a pretty straightforward cloth

Gameoverse is genuinely one of the most immediately interesting setting for a show, but the big asterisk to that is that this show NEEDS to have a lengthy, multi-season run and a mostly episodic structure. If it's allowed to take its time with everything it will probably be one of Glitch's most enduring shows in the long run.

The worst villain name is a toss up between “Codpiece” and “Asbestos Woman”.

My first thought is "Egg Fu" because it both sounds stupid and the character (or at least the character's original incarnation) is a giant psychic egg with a stereotypical asian face on it that whips people with its prehensile moustache.

But taking a different approach, I'm nominating Spiderman villain Critical Mass because of how cool it sounds while the reason for it is so stupid and disappointing.

His whole deal is that he has gloves that let him fire energy beams. Where does the name come from then? He's morbidly obese. That's it. He doesn't even have the excuse the Blob does by his weight tying into his powers. He's just a guy wit ha very generic tech based power so they named something vaguely solely based on being very fat.

Another candidate is the obscure early Teen Titans villain "Ding Dong Daddy", a supervillain greaser.

Nitama, already now a mature cat (born 2010), has a protege named Yontama (fourth Tama, b. 2016).  There is no information available for either the physical befellment or tragic self-disgrace which has removed Santama from contention.

okay but actually what happened to santama (or sun-tama-tama, which is her name because it’s a pun on santama) was that she was basically sent to train for the position in okayama and they liked her so much they refused to send her back

“Sun-tama-tama” (a pun off of “Santama”, lit. “third Tama”) was a calico cat sent for training in Okayama. Sun-tama-tama was considered as a candidate for Tama’s successor, but the Okayama Public Relations representative who had been caring for Sun-tama-tama refused to give the cat up writing, “I will not let go of this child, she will stay in Okayama.” [25]

As of September 2018, Sun-tama-tama is working as the stationmaster in Naka-ku, Okayama and appears occasionally on Tama’s Twitter account.

So, fun fact- the manga Noragami has an arc where the main character, Yato (a minor kami/God that is down on his luck but trying to make it big time) goes to a council/conference for all the Gods in Japan.

And they are announcing the winner of the “up and coming god” award, and of course, Yato thinks it’s him.

Just to update… yes, there is a Gotama (“Fifth Tama”) now, introduced in January of this year.

Wakayama Electric Railway’s tradition of feline stationmasters has a new face: Gotama, who joined the team as stationmaster in January 2025.

Nitama and Yontama are still alive and still working. Gotama is Nitama’s second assistant.

Sadly, Nitama died last December, so today Yontama stepped up as full stationmaster. Rokutama (“Sixth Tama”) was also introduced as a new trainee.

They should just bite the bullet and make a female James Bond. Hot, athletic, suave. She wears tuxedos with a somewhat feminine cut, drinks vodka martinis, drives sports cars, and goes by "James", because why not.

Also, because this is incredibly important to Bond for some reason, she needs to be an incredibly predatory, womanizing lesbian. Some perfectly happy married straight woman needs to become gay by the end of the movie.

We live in the future, and we can admit that all of the cool things that a Male James Bond can do are things a Female James Bond can do. But at all costs, we need to avoid making this thing feel "woke" of self-aware. If Female Bond is not exactly as toxic and awesome as any of the male ones, we will have failed, and might as well be making another franchise.

This is literally the single worst thing I have read on this godforsaken website. James Bond is fundamentally a male character grounded in the time of his creation. He's is a romanticized ideal filtered through a fun lair of danger and mystery. The character, on a base level, embodies an idealic fantasy of the mid 20th century at it's most realized and virtuous.

Making James Bond a woman is, without a shred of doubt, the worst way you could botch the character at a conceptual level.

If you want a Bond-esqe female superspy, make one.

Appropriating the legacy of James Bond for such an endeavor is a monumentally moronic idea. This right here, a desire to reflect one's interests in preexisting media that doesn't already do so, is THE single most destructive thing for creative works in this day and age. Moreso than morality-bullying, heavy-handed preachy messaging or literally anything else.

This is the exact sort of creative desecration that brought about Star Fleet Academy (the most recent botched abortion of a once legendary franchise)

To any aspiring creatives, especially writers, I beg of you, if you think like OP, MAKE YOUR OWN SHIT!!!

THAT is how you avoid being called irony poisoned or a wokescold.

There is no shame in creating a new franchise, hell, it's what most sane creatives would consider a great honor
