The Raffles' banded langur is currently critically endangered due to habitat loss and hunting for food and the pet trade. They've been legally protected in Singapore since 1947, and there is hope that the addition of a recent nature park will ensure safe feeding grounds for these monkeys. ©

Milo from International Primate Rescue in South Africa is likely a hybrid between a common marmoset and a black tufted marmoset. Once kept as a pet, he now lives a full life with his mate Cora.
Typically the Japanese macaque gets all the wintertime hype, but the barbary macaques of Trentham Monkey Forest are big fans of playing in the snow! These charismatic North African monkeys are the only macaque species that are not native to Asia, and before the ice age they populated Europe as far north as the British Isles and Germany.
