I think they’re making a very weak attempt if that’s their goal. I would just laugh and raise my eyebrow, standing before my class, and say ‘while the amount interest is intriguing, I am very much not offering any sexual favors’
It is very weak, I mean if you want to get me fired come up with a better way of doing it. I mean I know I am not hard to look at but still. We are all supposed to be adults and they are all acting like a bunch of animals.
“Hey, professor Johnson,” Rose stood up, her hands running along his desktop “I saw you put in an A minus on the grading system for one of my papers” She explored the classroom with her eyes, “And I cant accept an A minus, school is important to me Professor, is there anything I could do to maybe change it or something at least” She spun around facing him with hopeful eyes. You could tell she was being completely honest.
“Bribing the teacher will get you expelled and thrown out of my class. I do not condone with this behavior, The only way that you can change a grade that you receive in my class is to study more and try harder the next time around.”
Okay I totally tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and blame it on the phrasing but now they’re just doing it deliberately.
Yeah because, I am the new professor so they I guess want to make it as hard as they can in hopes that I quit.
What is the question?
Oh, right.
You are one of two people that didn’t know what the question was and it is right there in front of you.
You wouldn’t dare. I know you too well, you wouldn’t be able to last a day without me.

“Okay,Okay, calm down” Rose eye’d him “Do you need any help? I’ll be glad too…”
“No, its confidential thank you.”
“Oh! your grading papers! Which one is mine? please tell me I got a hundred… I wont take anything less” Rose sat in front of him, quickly examining each paper that she shuffled in her hands until she found her name.
“MISS MONTGOMERY! you do not go through a professor’s belongings or papers like that. All of this is confidential. Plus I did not even grade your paper yet. I haven’t even graded your classes papers yet. I’m still on my first class of the day’s papers.”
“See now, Professor Johnson, you made it dirty all on your own, I was simply asking an innocent question…” Rosemary smiled innocently.
“You simply do not ask a professor what is on his mind. Especially not when he is grading your papers.”
Perhaps next time you should just say gender and then give them options. You know male, female, gender fluid.
I have male, female, other, rather not say. So they circle one and then next to it they put yes please. It is getting annoying.
“Scream? That’s a bit dramatic, isn’t it, Professor. Aren’t you the least bit flattered someone still finds you attractive? Assuming, of course, that you’re referring to that blank space where they’re supposed to fill in their gender.”
“Not when almost all of your students put yes please. I mean I have had people attracted to me before. Its the Florence nightingale effect but with teachers and students. And yes that is what I am referring to.”
“So, wait. You don’t want us to just say ‘yes’ or ‘no’, you’d also like us to put preference? What if we don’t have a preference? Do we put both? No wonder your students are confused.”
“No, I would just like you to put if you are a male or female. It isn’t that hard. Especially with state tests. I could get fired.”
I’ll laugh through the wall, just try not to scare my students to much, okay?
I swear if you do that I will never talk to you again.
What’s question two?
Its right there in front of you dear.
“I think the real and most important question is Professor Johnson, What do you have on your brain?” Rose glanced up at him, pursing her lips as she stared at him intently.
“That is a very inappropriate question to ask a teacher.” He looked back at her and just shook his head getting frustrated with this whole thing.
“Ten bucks says I know what the question is,” Tara spoke with the hint of a smirk. “So let me go on record as saying, yes, please.”
“What is it with you students. Why can’t you simply put male or female when it asks for what sex you are. We aren’t children anymore we are supposed to be adults.”
