Claire sighed as she headed back up towards the school. She had left abruptly to take care of some stuff that was left over with her coven, bringing all of their grimoires and books back with her since this was her new home. She was just looking forward to getting back to her life and getting into teaching her classes. ‘yes because teaching your precious cooking classes is so important’ she rolled her eyes at her sisters commentary. “Shut up Kate,”

Tae wasn’t entirely sure he wanted to know the answer, but he was curious enough to ask. “How….how do you get another um…vessel?” He couldn’t imagine that you could just make a body out of thin air.
“we’re not quite sure at the moment, we thought about having her take over the body of someone vaguely her age that would be dying anyway weather from an accident or natural causes. That way she has the vessel to herself once the original soul has passed.”

When she had missed teaching while she was off the island, Anne obviously hadn’t remembered how boring it was to grade papers. Her students weren’t morons or anything but still, hitting her head repeatedly against the nearest wall sounded a lot more fun than what she was doing. Packing her stuff up, she just gave up and decided to eat something. “Oh, I was actually going to do just that.” Anne smiled at the person who had just approached. No collar, so not a slave. “I’m Anneke.”
Claire gave a bright smile at the other female. “Claire Bradley, Pleasure to meet you Anneke. Such a lovely and unique name.” She noted a lack of collar on the other and knew she must either be another professor or a mistress. “How about we have a meal together then, I’m still trying to learn my way around this place.”

The thought of food, specifically burgers, seemed to work in easing Jace a bit, who was quick to smile back at the redhead, bowing his head. “Then the ‘Dark Moon’ pub in town’s the place to go.” he mumbled, “Best burgers I’ve ever had since comin’ here. Not to mention, they go awesome with beer.”
Just the thoughts of good burger and beer had her near moaning in delight, “That sounds amazing right now. Would you mind terribly showing me where it is? Perhaps you’d be interested in joining me? My Treat.” she offered with a smile.

“It can be. But it’s only temporary. Once she can find another vessel we can transfer her soul into it and we’ll both be free again.” She smiled softly, she was really hoping she wasn’t freaking him out by this. Taking a moment to herself she closed her eyes, muttering a spell under her breath before smiling. “There, mental walls up, now I won’t hear her anymore for the time being.”

“Oh…that’s um….interesting. I’m sorry you were attacked,” Tae said, the words falling out in a quick babble. “That must be really hard.” He couldn’t imagine sharing his body with someone else, not like that.
“It can be. We have a system so we can put up walls and block each other out entirely if we want, I sometimes just forget to. We each get our own time out and about in the world thanks to a certain spell, that morphs the body to our own likenesses.” she knew it was a lot to process for people how it worked but it was working for for them and it wasn’t like it was going to be like that forever. Eventually she’d have her body all to herself again.
