The next April fools event (JP 2024/EN 2025) have already had some details leaked.

Following a similar vane of JP's 2022 April Fools there will be a group mix-up. But this time the group's members will remain together but the actual groups will swap (i.e MMJ becoming WxS.)

The group's will all have 3 April fools covers (The group's Untitled, 1 commissioned song and 1 cover.)

The swaps will be as listed below.

L/N will become MMJ.

MMJ will become WxS.

VBS will become N25.

WxS will become VBS.

N25 will become L/N.

L/N will cover Newly Edgy idols, More Jump More and Dreamin Chu Chu.

MMJ will cover The world hasn't even started yet, Theme of Niccori Survey Team and Ego Rock.

VBS will cover Composing The Future, Bug and Phony.

WxS will cover Ready Steady, Utsuro Wo Aogu and Shanti.

N25 will cover NeedLe, TeraTera and Ghost Rule.

It may be a while for this event to arrive, but I dont think I'm alone with being excited about it.

A collaboration with the persona series is currently being discussed internally at Sega.

This collaboration is only in the discussion phases at the moment, so we have actually no information beside this.

The planned release would be in about 2 and a half years.

This date coincides closely with Project Sekai's expected end date. This would correctly follow the pattern of games that have persona collaborations having service end shortly after.

While Main story leans heavy into Rui's English, he can actually speak every language in history, even languages that time has forgotten.

He is currently using this skill to enter negotiations with Kazakhstan to acquire more Uranium.

What he plans to do with it, we are unsure.

Did You Know?

With the recent release of The Nightcord at 25:00 cover of Maretu's musical work Mind Brand, fans have noticed that one of the original samples from the song has been removed.

This sample is originally from a video from popular late 2000's YouTuber "Nostalgia Critic"

This sample was actually removed due to Douglas Darien Walker (A.K.A The titular Nostalgia Critic) showing up to the Sega offices holding his classic Nostalgia Critic gun.

Mr. Walker finally stepped down and left the country upon being informed the sample will be removed.

However, An (Who the event is focused on) has a rap battle with some retired Chemistry teacher from America named Walter White (From Epic Rap Battles of history, not breaking bad.)

what happens during MMJ world link

As one of my previous posts confirmed Airi Momoi is now dead. The world link focuses on MMJ struggling with staying together without her, on the brink if disbanding.

But then Minori brings the group together to say that even if Airi is gone they should honor her memory.

Haruka then responds with "But what if she doesn't have to be gone."

The group then commit a ritual to revive Airi Momoi from the dead.

Did You Know?

The character Shiho Hinomori is actually an undercover Japanese secret service officer.

In an upcoming More More Jump event Shizuku will talk to Minori about her past with her sister.

During this conversation Shizuku will mention how after the age of 8 and before the age of 14 Shiho had run a way from home and when she did return she was a lot different than she remembered.

Over the course of the event Shizuku will find evidence that Shiho is reporting information to either someone or some organisation, along with more proof of her real identity.

At the end of the event, Shizuku will confront Shiho about this, with her cover blown who we know as Shiho reveals that she isn't actually Shiho. Shizuku is of course shocked by this information but says that even if she isn't actually Shiho, she is still her sister and she won't reveal her secret.

The story ends with both the Hinomori sisters crying and comforting each other.

We are unsure of the real Shiho's wearabouts and how this development will affect Leo/Need and the entire story as a whole.

While nobody expected and even now, don't really know what to expect, an accidental leak does confirm that this collaboration is due to commence soon.

The Vivid Bad Squad Spotify account has accidentally released a early preview of a cover of My Time. However it is just instrumental.

Undercover colorful pallette employees are trying to perform damage control by spreading misinformation that this is not a collaboration and either just a hacked account or assigning songs to the wrong artist.

While I don't know what specifically this collaboration holds in store, as a fan of both Omori And Project Sekai, I am very excited.

Project Sekai almost never had Virtual Singers

Virtual singers were never a planned addition during early development of Project Sekai. Only 18 original characters were planned (Mafuyu Asahina and Kanade Yoisaki have been excluded from this total, For further information about this decision click here)

During Project Sekai's development, Craft Egg were approached by Sega regarding interest in development of a Project DIVA Mobile, So work for Project Sekai was halted.

About half way In Project DIVA Mobile's Development, Colorful Pallete (A subsidiary of Craft Egg) expressed concerns that due to the pace of DIVA's development that Project Sekai was never going to reach completion.

Due to this concern Craft Egg asked Crypton Future Media (A Subsidiary of Sega) If the 2 games could be merged into 1.

Sega were initially hesitant but the idea grew on them after a while. And as such the direction of both game's development changed into what we know it as today.
