I am suddenly of the firm belief that cheng xiaoshi and lu guang are most certainly in a deeply close platonic relationship rather than anything romantic. because we definitely ain't doing much any censorship here...

what I'm getting from this pv in regards to liu xiao and jae's relationship: definitely on opposite sides. they are frenemies; incredibly possessive of each other, highly obsessive.

jae lee may be one of the only people liu xiao truly considers an equal. with how little we know of jae, it's difficult to deduce what it is from his end.

that aside, it's interesting that liu xiao is depicted in lab coat and all at the start.

at first I was thinking he could be linked to xia fei being an experimentation subject, but I'm sure that's not the case; he's a forensics investigator of some sort, not a researcher.

the premise of the pv, as such seems to be like so: liu xiao conducted a forensic investigation of mass bloodshed by jae lee, trying to track him down; this results in jae lee tracking down liu xiao to shut him up. they both are playing cat and mouse with each other.

can't wait to see these lunatics in season 3.
