July 2025 Devlog
Now that DreamNet has been updated, I've returned to Radio_Wishers. I've drawn up a new plan to work on the next build, mostly slow coloring and rough sketches of maps so I can do some further programming for events. I will be taking things slowly as I am still recovering and finished doing a lot of work for DreamNet.
Before I get to listing the progress made this month, I'd also like to briefly mention the payment processing fiasco happening on itch right now. While I don't think my current work will be affected (unless the rules really crack down on lgbt games), please lend your support to the devs who have been and may be! I don't plan on making sexual explicit work, I do want to stand with my fellow devs who do! We deserve nuanced explorations of sex and sexual trauma!

Hello!! Recovery has been slow as always, but I've done more than I thought I would this month. (That being said, I might run out of things I'm able to do in my current condition lol)
What's been done:
Finished implementing the dialogue for the story cutscenes for the next build
Also began some proper cutscene work for scenes that take place in already existing maps!
Began eventing optional scenes
Started to event some other game mechanics, with entryn17 helping with some assets
Started composing some music
Began writing the story cutscene script for the next build

Radio_Wishers - February Devlog
Hello again everyone. Unfortunately February continued the trend of chronic pain, and may be ongoing long enough to potentially affect the Dreaming Network update (thankfully I've done a lot of work before this happened! and I'll still be capable enough to organize work brought in by the team).
I'm still on a slow road to recovery, so I want to hope I'll be okay sooner. But I'll leave this as a "we'll see" situation.
In the meantime, I've decided to do the boring to show--but important--work, as well some minor polishing for menus.
Done:
Some adjustments to the menu ui
Finished writing optional scenes for the section
First script revisions were finished

Radio_Wishers - January Devlog
Hello, everyone! Time for the monthly dev report.
I feel like I jinxed myself with that last post by mentioning to my chronic health problems. My hands and wrists have been hurting constantly for multiple weeks. Things got really bad after the first week I started working on the game. As of writing, I'm still waiting for my doctor to diagnose me lol
That aside, time to list my progress:
A map got finished
A bunch of cg sketches done
80% done script revisions for the next build
Implemented the item trading system
Fixed some minor errors I missed in the demo (these won't be available until full release or if I decide to release a major content update for the demo though, sorry m( _ _ )m )
Hoping my health will only improve from here.

Radio_Wishers - New Years Devlog
Happy 2025 everyone!! Hope this year will treat you well.
Before I get into the full game: thank you for all the support towards the demo. It means a lot to have gotten even a slightest bit of attention and players.
I posted a some small bug fixes yesterday that I caught while replaying the demo to hype myself up. I was originally not going to post it, but they were serious enough to do so. I'd prefer if everyone could be able to read all the text in the game as intended!
As for the actual full game!!: this month will mostly be focusing on script revisions and new maps in the building, with the basic feature to switch between playing Spyros and Adeola. Along with some cg sketches, but I'm almost done those already. lol
I'll be writing devlogs on a monthly basis between January and April. Since DreamNet's next update will be prioritized from May to early July.
But I have written up a meaty plan for that time. A little more 1/3 of the build is planned out to be produced by then. Most of it is the bulk ofthe maps, alongside some basic eventing for cutscenes and mechanics just barely introduced in the demo.
I acknowledge there's always a chance I may not be physically able to get it done in time as this is a really busy time for my job, and I struggle with chronic pain. So I've decided that April will be a catch-up month for any work I've missed, and if I didn't miss anything? Well, more things can be done!
If you plan to stick around during this whole development process: thank you! I promise no one is more eager than me for work to continue on this game, so I'll work on it!!

My main focus rn is DreamNet, but let it be known that I've been working on scripts for a variety of projects lol (and been working on assets as a guest artist for some other things)
Halfway done the script for a short visual novel I want to make, 2/3 way done Vermilion Plight's script, and finished the revamped intro for All Aboard The Lodestar. The next main story script for Radio_Wishers' next playtester build is done
I want to also work on music for them, but I've been a little music blocked lately, which is kind of frustrating, but I'm sure I'll get through it at some point

After a long time of effort and learning how to get faster at using rpg maker, I present to thee: Radio_Wishers!!! A heavily Yume Nikki inspired adventure game about an amnesiac who's trapped in a room. In order to get their memories back and find a way to escape, they need to explore through their dreams.

Some exciting news, everyone! Radio_Wishers' demo is nearing completion! I'm currently doing my own tests for game breaking errors or details I might've missed before I hand it off to my playtesters.
I have a release date in mind, but until I give it to playtesters, it shall remain a secret.

Dev Log - July 2024
Last time I typed a dev log was before I took a break to work on Dreaming Network with some friends! We're brainstorming some updates, but I haven't personally started working on anything yet.
Instead it's time to finish up Radio_Wishers' demo, for real this time. This will be my main focus (art-wise) for the rest of the year until I do!!

Of the things I finished so far, eventing is probably the hardest thing to sit myself down to do, but I managed to do so for almost 3 days straight, what a relief. The remaining CGs were probably the quickest things for me to finish up, but they are pretty simple for now.
My primary focus for the month will be to get all visual work (ex: the item icons and maps) done for good. Lucky for me, the maps I have left were roughly implemented already, I just have to finish them off.
It feels wild to me how close it's getting now. I'm so nervous to hand it off to playtesters lol

Dev Log - May 2024
It's been done, the dream world maps have been drawn!!
It's amazing how well progress has gone. Here's the last of the things that need to be done:
2 dream world events
1 music track
2 last maps
The remaining cutscene assets
Sending it out to playtesters
Commissioning a friend for some promo art, just for fun :3
However! I'm taking a bit of a break because I may have a project with some friends coming up + I'll be busier with my job for a little bit. I'm already really excited for when I'll get back to working on this though, it's been hard to draw because it's all i can think of lol
Dev Log - April 2024
It hit that it's almost mid April, sooo! I think it's a good time for an update. No screenshots this time because the visuals I've been working on lately are things I've love to keep a surprise ^_^
Most of the cutscenes are evented, i just have to make everything look nicer! I wanted to finish it last month but some assets still need to be drawn or composed >_< But I'm happy to say that 70% of my checklist is done!
Also had to touch up some assets because I wanted to make the colors look nicer for the characters. I may do the same with the maps, but i'll leave that as polishing work, I mostly wanted to focus on the characters because of the assets I still need to make in order to make sure there's not future cgs or portraits I'd have to fix up too
Lastly there's only 3 tracks for me to compose! Woah!! so close
For the rest of this month I'll take a break from cutscene eventing to finish up the last of the dream world maps to the best of my ability ^.^
