the flower I chose was watcher-by-the-wayside (which was a little of a mystery to identify —it’s rapunzel), which means “do not despair”, a fitting meaning for soulburner indeed.

Summary:

Kaito travels through Heartland Theme Park looking for Orbital and Obomi’s missing wedding bouquet. Along the way he encounters a dark memory from his past, and struggles with the possibilities of his future.

I’m proud to present the fic I wrote for @projsakuraygo I was very lucky to get asked to write for the zine and it was a lot of fun to be part of a really cool project.

One of the pieces I worked on last year for the flower language zine, @projsakuraygo. The dandelions are meant to stand for endurance and determination!

Manjoume standing up to his brothers was definitely the peak of his character arc, I really wish we’d seen more of the aftereffects of him cutting ties with them

My Edo centric piece for @projsakuraygo!

Poppies represent consolation, remembrance and death. I thought they were a good fit both for Edo and for me, I took the liberty of projecting some of my own story onto him.

I was very honoured to be a part of this zine, it gave me the possibility to truly grow as an artist thanks to all the wonderful people involved. A special thanks to the mods for placing their trust in me and encouraging me even after the production period of the zine ended.

   Gakuto sat down to have his breakfast. It was about five o’clock in the morning, and the sun was just beginning to peak above the cityscape, illuminating the frigidity of it with a captivating sparkle. He should have been cold, feeling the draughts sweep through the open stylings of his bedroom which was on the cusp of the garden, but he wasn’t. He took it in stride. Instead, he felt hazy. Like the snow greyed with acidic pollution.

   He shivered but enforced his own strength against it. He had opened up all the sliding doors and screen walls for this very reason. It would build character, to endure this snow. He would endure it all like the plum tree that he was observing from afar, in the wooden comforts of his own home nestled between nature and manmade in an ephemeral balance.

   Only, Gakuto didn’t want to see the snow melt; when it melted, it would mean that spring would have arrived, and though spring was beautiful, Gakuto had no desire to experience it. Not this year at least. He wanted to remain curled up in the safe blankets of snow, no matter how cold it was.

It’s finally time to share the fic I wrote for the lovely @projsakuraygo :D I was given free reign to write a short fic about Malik - and TKB, because I’m a citronshipping fiend haha - dealing with and coming to terms with trauma… overall, I’m happy with the outcome :) Everyone did such a great job on this project - definitely go support their work!

It's finally here! The actual final @projsakuraygo tea I've worked on! This one is a collab piece with the amazing @iylisss (who has impeccable taste in characters). We are both proud to announce the Edo, Saiou and Destinyshipping teas :D

Working with them was amazing, I had a lot of fun and they were just incredible with their own work ;-;
