Cleaning of floors can be done accurately if we know our floor type. Each floor is of different kind and has to be cleaned uniquely. All floor types cannot be cleaned only by using phenyl. For instance, marble flooring, if you keep on cleaning it with phenyl for a long period, you will find that it become slightly yellow. Hence, for each kind of flooring we need different styles of cleaning.
Today, most of the builders are providing wooden flooring for an attractive look and colour. Wooden flooring come in two types – solid wood and laminated wood. Even though the trend is increasing, people are not aware of the cleaning style and end up in withering of the floor. the floor looses its shine and looks rough and old.

Place floor mats at doorways to restrain tracking of dirt and sand
Avoid dragging of furniture, use furniture legs to avoid scratches
Use paper towel or dry cloth to clean up spills immediately
Use blinds or curtains to protect flooring from direct sunlight (discoloring may occur)
Never use tile floor cleaners on wooden floors
Avoid wearing high heel or rough sport shoes which can dent the surface.

Wipe of spills like lemon juice, tomato juice immediately to prevent etching
