The overwhelming percentage of New Yorkers targeted by cops for stops, tickets and arrests are black and Hispanic, a new report says.

“If they were arresting people for serious crimes, no one has a problem with that,” Gangi said. “That’s not what most police do in New York City. They are targeting people for low-level offenses.”

A watchdog group documents patterns of police behavior from inside sources.

“Mr. Gangi and other advocates of police reform (a term that has become synonymous with opposition to broken-windows) say enforcement targets the poor and minorities for offenses that have been essentially decriminalized in wealthy, white areas and to which most New Yorkers are indifferent. Mr. Gangi said that the problem of arrests of people of color for marginal offenses has continued under Mr. Bratton.”

White Cop Convicted Of Manslaughter For Killing Unarmed Black Teen

After a yearlong of delayed trial finally, the “dangerous” white cop has been brought to book. The killer of William Chapman is to face a two-and-half year sentence, the jury ruled.

Stephen D. Rankin was responding to a shoplifting report and there he saw William Chapman. As the officer said William charged at him, so he feared for his life and shot Chapman multiple times -in the face and the chest.

He shot him in the face.William stood five yards away from the cop with his hands in the air. He complied. Yet, officer decided he has a right to shoot him in the face for… nothing. Thankfully, justice was served in this case and cop is going to jail. Let’s hope it’s not the last time racist cop pays for murdering black people.
