"Hey... Tiph wants us to do 'team-building exercises' or something... Probably a request from miss Hod. She stuck me with you, so we have to do things together for the day..."

He says with a grin, as though he wasn't just about to try to sneak back to the vending machine. Nobody had to know.
"so ah... where to first?"
"...Up to you. Shouldn't trust my judgement, hah..."
[Seems as though he would probably go with anything... Lucky, to find a nice doormat to partner with.]
For a brief moment, he raises an eyebrow. This one seemed Confident. Tiph sure knew how to pick 'em.
"Welllll, if you don't have anything in mind... lemme let you in on a trade secret, then."
...and with that, he promptly sat back down on his ass and got comfortable.
"Never do anything they don't explicitly tell you to. Waste of energy, trust me. C'mon, sit. If we're lucky, they'll forget to assign us anything." Nobody was ever lucky in this facility. "...and if we're not, we're just doing icebreakers. Easy."
He was So fucking good at this.
"..Um. Okay. Mind if I sit with you, then...?"
[Poor Viktor seemed rather confused. Not working wasn't an idea that had occurred to him, but disappointing his assigned partner was unthinkable. So, as usual, he simply accepted what he was told.]
"i'm asking." he says, patting the space beside him. "c'mon, it wont kill ya."
Yeah, this one Definitely needed some work. Or, well. The opposite. They'd handle it.
"see, look. if you sit on the floor right here, you can see the whole room easy peasy. and you can use the column as an armrest. pretty great, right?"
"I see... I suppose it sounds nice. One might wonder how Tiphereth would react to seeing this, though..."
[Viktor sat down, laying the massive Gold Rush gauntlet on xyr lap. Xe started fidgeting with his ID card.]
"ah, don't worry about it. if she gets on your case about it, it was my idea, m'kay?"
He'd gotten fairly good at redirecting Tiphereth's frustrations regarding his... less-than-present attitude. Normally he'd try not to get caught at all, but with a buddy... well, it was expected of him. So he could handle it.
"i guess since we're gonna be stuck together a while... got any gossip?" He says, his grin turning a bit mischievous. "not like i get many chances to keep up round here."
control: tempting because of its stuffy lobby atmosphere but malkuth will find out and she will write you up about it 4/10
