No one knows the true feelings of the United States towards Korea, and the United States itself does not fully understand whether it has sincere paternal feelings for it or simply presents itself as a caring father in order to maintain Korea's trust. One way or another, as is the case with any state, even they may have political differences. But among the living incarnations of states, rather than people, their relationship can be called rather positive, since the United States usually treats its adopted daughter tenderly. But still, an ordinary person would never recognize this relationship as healthy.
