Spyro has pretty dragons.
The remakes have a whole WEALTH of incredible character design from what I’ve seen so far. So much personality showing through their shapes and movements. A lotta love went into those games and guh it’s incredible.

I’ll never get over how ridiculous some shoulder pads can get.
I’m really tempted to play WoW, I’ve had an itch the last few months since there were rumblings about Sethrak being playable.
Eight years ago I said I’d not play it unless there were scalies in it (because worgen back then weren’t to my taste at all), but I’m kinda itching to do it now.
And yeah I know it’s a mixed bag for folks at the moment but, I’ve not gone through it and I’m interested in playing it. I grew up on Runescape, my MMO standards are low. Fight me.
Also he’s topless because do you have any idea how expensive it is to get decent clothes that don’t get immediately torn by those claws?
omg omg omg omg the new raptor
We don’t have a Shatterer mini yet?
Pi fix.
Guess who just levelled-up and got themself (with the huge help of many friends) a birthday book!
There’s a bug going round (though I have my doubts as to how much of a ‘bug’ it actually is) that prevents people from accessing their blogs if they go to the blogname.tumblr.com address. Any attempt to access blogs this way (ours, those of others or any kinds of links on the web that lead back to Tumblr posts) results in us being redirected to the main Dashboard page (tumblr.com/dashboard). The only way to access a blog, for those of us affected by this bug, is to go to the Dashboard pop-up view (tumblr.com/dashboard/blog/blognamehere). Of course, the Tumblr mobile app is wholly unaffected. Of course.
Here’s where it gets very fucking sketchy for me:
so far, every single user I’ve seen affected by this bug is located in Europe, like myself;
when I tried to access several blogs (my own among them) through a US proxy, I was able to do so, without being redirected to the Dashboard
I repeat, this ‘bug’ affects European users and I was able to access blog-pages by using AN AMERICAN IP ADDRESS. What in the ever-loving hell, @staff?
In light of GDPR (and Tumblr being singled out as one of the sites that made it as onerous as possible to opt-out of your data being shared with a ludicrous number of third-parties), I really wouldn’t be surprised if they’re trying to kick European users to the curb in this way / trying to force us to use the mobile app instead. Just the thought of having to pay for a VPN so I can keep this fucking site even remotely functional (remember – no Tumblr content link from the web is accessible anymore – if I click on a link that’s blogname.tumblr.com/post/postnumber, I’m always redirected to the first page of the dashboard) makes my blood boil.
Also, I’ve noticed the app doesn’t play nice with VPNs lately. It acts like it has no WiFi connection; meanwhile, everything else works fine.
@tigerator is this what’s been happening to you?
yes and i’m european
I had this happen to me yesterday (wasn't able to check it yet today). I am also European.
One thing I had noticed that was REMARKABLY peculiar is that while browsing last night, a link I had DEFINITELY never taken before had been highlighted as if it were any other visited URL leading off of that site. I'm not sure how a browser tells what you've visited and what you've not, but if I mouse over a link and the address that pops up is one I've not run into before, I'd expect it to check against that address, not where I'd oopsie end up at.
So I dunno what the hell is going on here. Not only is their cookie management particularly ass, but I'm wondering if they threw the baby out with the dishwasher and "accidentally" included some actually functional cookies among the advertising ones.
Although there's a number of US-based sites (especially, not sure of others because I don't browse in other languages) that just essentially toss you out because you're European and/or took the choice to opt out of all those unnecessary measurements, so this is par for the course.
The weirdest thing is that it just happened out of the blue. It was fine until last night. Mobile browser works just as fine.
Yet another roadblock in my way, oof. I thought I’d get the Gift of Ipos today but it seems like I’m not gonna.
I thought I might plug my Ko-Fi page (again? I’m not sure if I did before...)
I’m a freelance artist, so art is literally my life! I do try to open up for commissions on a regularish basis; I’ve set this up a while back for folks who want to support me but can’t splash for a commission!
(Living in the UK makes it pricey for people outside of it, at times. LOOKING AT YOU CANADA AND AUSTRALIA.)
art amirite
Pi’s a cute cat, or so he’s told.
Mirrors never last long around him so he couldn’t tell.
Pi knows fine rightly that folks don’t like his little creations.
He completely misreads the situation with why, though. The things he’s made are surprisingly biologically sound, just nature would not have put it together in that way. And nature made choya for crying out loud.
He’s an incredibly proficient sculptor, visible even at a young age. Unfortunately, the medium he works in is flesh and bone; he’s able to make some of the most abhorrent-looking but effective constructs from organic material.
It’s less fun if it’s less monstery, but he’s even able to turn it towards medical uses if really needs be. Sometimes he even remembers to apply sedative!
cjthebigbear replied to your photo : Whew when people said Power Reaper was bad I...
yeah but like numbers don’t mean shit if you’re not having fun
Not saying I don’t have fun with others, nor that I wasn’t having fun with this, but it’s kinda demoralizing nonetheless when you get a faceful of reality.
My raid leader gave me a chance to try to make it and I didn’t even reach mid 20k’s on the mechanicless DPS golem; there comes a point where you gotta actually contribute at least in some fashion.
And sadly my favourite elite spec kinda just can’t. I’d be far more a hindrance than anything if I tried to participate with that.
Whew when people said Power Reaper was bad I didn’t realize how accurate it was. There had to be a lot of it being just jokes.
It’s demoralizing because I got 24k on my first time trying Power Spellbreaker with worse gear and no food. I shoulda listened, whew.
Back to the bin I go.
Can my Water Ele salad join you in the trash too? She promises not to get your fur wet
salads go in the compost bin, not the trash can
A light snack.
Nobody tattle on him; people don’t know he got into the ecto jar again.
