Welcome to our page! As posted above... We're a plural system meaning we are multiple people sharing one body. We are fictive-heavy meaning we have many headmates that resemble or are named after fictional characters found in our world. We all identify as individual people and prefer to be treated as such. The same goes for the fictives. They prefer to be treated like a person first and their source (the character they look like) second.

We identify with being called "headmates", "sysmates", "system members", "people", and similar. We also identify with terms like "you&" when referring to us collectively.

In theory any of us will post around here depending on how we feel or if we have anything to say but familiar faces may include...

Plural/system culture is me sitting here and wondering if I should go edit our main blog right now/include a link to this blog on it and make it unapologetically plural

Plural/system culture is also me telling myself that we spent this long meticulously crafting these two different spaces/keeping our plural posting separate to the point where going and doing that would basically make all our hard work for nothing. +We'd probably scare some mutuals into leaving on the other blog if we suddenly jumped them with the plurality stuff

being plural means a headmate pulling you into headspace to cuddle with you and help you go to sleep because of your& insomnia

being plural means smiling and laughing at a joke one of your headmates made, or having witty banter with them as you make a meal that you'll both be able to enjoy

being plural means a headmate going "its okay, you don't have to do this, i can do it" and you thanking them because yeah, you cant do that, and thats okay

being plural means thinking about your headmates when buying new clothes, or seeing a shirt or pair of pants for sale and going "they'd love that !!"

somebody just took front just long enough to stand at the sliding glass patio door and stare out in the backyard (that's pitch black btw because it's almost 2 AM) while eating a singular slice of cheese

a single slice of american cheese. they were picking it apart bit by bit and just eating it while staring unblinking out into the darkness like some kind of creeper

In-system relationships can be so intimate.

Waking up together, opening the same eyes, and stretching the same limbs. Yawning in time and saying a good morning that only you who are involved can understand what it's for.

Sharing a meal, not only from the same plate, but with the same hands and the same senses. Deciding what to eat together, something that fits all of your tastes.

Curled in the same bed, in the same blankets, in the same body, drowzily mumbling about nothing and everything to each other. Joking around and feeling their sleepy laugh as if it were your own.

Living life, and inviting them to share yours and your time in it--performing your daily tasks in the unison of cofront. Seeing and hearing and feeling everything together.

Feeling them blush when you flirt or compliment them. Feeling their joy when you get them a gift, or how safe you make them feel simply when you're around them.

Enveloped in the same love, from the same brain, with the same feeling of care for each other palpable between you. Feeling the emotions you feel yourself, coming from the other person. Feeling their love for you, in the rawest, most direct possible way.

ah yes. prepping for flufftober and whumptober when you have shit memory

i took this screen from a draft post on one of our fandom blogs because we've started making draft posts to preemptively tag things so they're ready to go the day of. the real challenge is going to be remembering to add the ao3 links to said draft posts and posting them once the fics start going up come october

i swear i look at this post like every day and it feels like it multiplies in notes overnight

i mean im not complaining because genuinely thank you guys im glad you like this goofy little musing but also like- oh my god???

so this is actually a side blog right? this is a side blog because normally we're pretty hush hush about our plurality on main. thats fine and dandy and all but it means we have another blog in the form of our main blog thats completely unconnected to this blog or our plurality

we also have a fandom blog for a specific fandom we're in thats similarly unconnected to this one

every single time i post on here i check to make sure that im posting to proxycollective and not one of our other blogs but i still live in constant fear that one of these days im not going to notice and we're going to blast our poor unsuspecting followers and mutuals on our other blogs with a very obviously plural post and have to scramble to delete it or explain that

DOES NOT HELP that we tend to like... queue up posts when we're batch posting or batch reblogging so if i accidentally did set it to the wrong blog i have a high key chance of not noticing it until it posts on the wrong blog

and knowing my damn luck itd be the one post that was queued to post at like 4 AM so id be asleep and unable to take it down before everybody and their kitchen sink sees it

Being a plural fanfic writer be like (part 2)

so we write fanfic right? and we got some friends (who do NOT know that we're plural) who are in the same fandom as us and also write fanfic so a lot of times we're writing the same characters at the same time

sometimes those friends or other commenters on our fics look at some of characters we write and go "wow! you captured their canon voice so perfectly! i dont know how you make their characterizations so perfect"

cue me sideglancing at the fictives we have of those characters

i dunno man- must just have a talent for it or something! totally not because we look at the fictives and ask "hey how would you/source you react to this" noooooo...
