This second account is going to where I post fics from now on, both fan fiction and original. Requests are more than welcome as well through my inbox, feel free to ask.
My specialty is rewrites or fan fics for manhwa characters.
I write about disturbing subjects that can be very triggering so this is an 18+ account, minors please DNI.
My main account, @pruneunfair is going to be for anything else that isn't a fic, such as essays and character analysis's.
What I will write:
Almost anything, really. I'm fine with writing both fluff and angst and I'm not opposed to most NSFW scenarios, with obvious exceptions ofc.
Almost any kind of shipping is allowed, whenever it's reader X canon, oc X canon, crossover ships, all that. Toxic ships will also be permitted albeit they will not be written under the context that the reader is supposed to be looking at it like a healthy relationship.
What I will not write:
Glamourization of natured dark subject. There's a pretty obvious reason as to why I refuse to make anything like cry or better yet beg. I want to make works about both dark romance and toxic romance (Yes, they are different) and neither of those genres should ever be presenting an abusive relationship as something "positive" I will only write about messed up toxic romances with the narrative if it's presented as what it is: An abusive relationship.
Any kind of smut fic about bodily fluids (watersports, scat, etc) I don't want to kink shame, but please, don't ask me to write that.
Fics about real people (EX: Celebrities) It's a giant invasion of privacy and in my opinion, I personally find it creepy to write fan fiction about real people, especially smut fics about said people. I only will write about fictional characters but I will take inspiration from real people to characterize these characters.
Imagining Heinrey giving Royce any romantic advice would be a recipe for disaster.
Heinrey: You see, brother, the key to winning a lady's heart is to be there during her time of need. Why, when Navier shed tears, I would shift into my avian form and sneak into her room through her window. She didn't know who I was just yet of course but it didn't matter, for she would eventually learn how to love again, thanks to me.
Royce: Heinrey, that sounds illegal...
Heinrey: We're the descendants of God, Royce, anything is legal for us.
Ergi hates Rashta's relationship with Beatrice, not because he's homophobic, he's just Rashta's No. 1 hater and the idea of her being happy pisses him off.
I find it funny that so many characters in the rewritten empress consider obedience to be one of Beatrice's best qualities, and then she ends up betraying so many people.
Rylan wants her to secure the role as Sovieshu's mistress? She decides to move out of her family's lives so she can be besties with the same woman she was supposed to cuck.
Navier expects Beatrice to stay loyal to her? She spends the next year or two chilling with Rashta and eventually choosing to pledge her loyalty to Sovieshu by remaining in Fahlgren.
Sovieshu thinks she wouldn't be capable of any harm? She kidnaps his child and runs out of the country with his second wife.
Delice: I literally have done every single thing you asked, I don't know why you're doing this to me, but I am begging you to please just spare me, I promise to never tell anyone about what I saw.
Rashta: ... *reaches into Delice's mouth and tears out her tongue* I couldn't focus on what you were saying with that thing in your mouth, I was sick of staring at it.
Beatrice: Oh, come on! I mean, am I attracted to Rashta? Sure, do my days feel better when I'm around her? Yes, does she get me in ways no one ever has? Indubitably, am I the kind of person who would run off with my cousin's wife? Perhaps, but do I like her? The answer's no.
I yearn for Duke Ergi that written by a better author who doesnt give him a 'good ending', in another life he living his life haunted by the slave empress that he created and pushed down
I yearn for Duke Ergi that have a better fandom that doesnt excuse his actions just bcs his terrible past (if past excuse a person actions then Rashta is 100% innocent) so they start to write fanfics that in his views about how he sometimes see his mother in Rashta instead of the mistress
I lowkey yearn for a Duke Ergi who looks like he's a mysterious mastermind to an outsider when he's secretly a little pathetic and even on the same emotional wavelength as Rashta
I got the otome Isekai subreddit mad at me with a post about FMDF the other day, and I got responses saying that I deserved to end up like Diana. Which is kinda funny.
l'd like to say that I'm not upset or anything. I just think that it's interesting that they wish I should get bullied, divorced, and lose my voice as my enemies prosper because I makes memes about me thinking that a manhwa is misogynistic.
I don't blame them, if they feel annoyed as fuck, they're annoyed. I can’t tell them how to feel, and I think they want to avoid another Rashta situation. Though, I am surprised they call me obsessed, knowing that I only posted like 3-4 memes within months. My latest meme (not including the post) was like 6 days ago.
So, why question is how did you handle that whole Reddit post made on you?
I saw your memes on there 😂 Good stuff.
I couldn't find the reddit post itself made about me so either the post was simply deleted or whoever tried cyberattacking me got shadowbanned, this screen shot that was messaged to me by who I am assuming is the rage baiter themself is all that remains.
Since it was already basically handled for me by the time I found out about it, all I did was publicly talk about it and have a good laugh and I don't think I had to deal with something like this ever since.
so i'm a gluten for punishment and went looking for the Husband Stealer and apparently the Niece is a time regressor and is "Stealing"
(you cannot steal a person unless you're doing human trafficking, this grown man willingly pursued his wife's Niece)
her Aunt's husband bc her marriage in her first life was shitty
(i don't know how since i've only read the prologue so it could just be that they just weren't compatible or it could be abusive)
and the Aunt decided that she will marry her Niece's first husband and make the marriage work
(as if to imply that the reason it didn't work in the first life was bc of the Niece)
and on one hand it's interesting to have a story in which the regressor is not the protagonist but on the other
what the fuck is up with this plot and female blaming bullshit
Are we really at the point where an uncle can agree to enter a relationship with his niece and the only aspect that the narrative will choose to find concerning is that it's infidelity and not because it's incest? I know that these people are royalty and that the niece isn't related to this man by blood since he's just her blood related aunt's husband but its still weird as hell.
With a taste of happiness for the tragedy extra, I have to say the manhwa/novel did a good job making us understand the OI cliches and have the role of the side character to the female lead aka leivella as leivella have to suffer watching the ohfl and ogfls father kill innocent people who have good reason to oppose them as in other manhwas, whenever a side character has good reason to disagree with an mc, they get quickly punished by the mc or mc’s supporters
Thank god we're finally getting content criticizing the overprotective and obsessive father trope
is what death taught me really gonna give every character except the rape victim a happy ending?
like yeah the rapist died too and Rinette wanted him to suffer but it seemed more like bc he cheated and not, y'know, the literal crime he committed
i guess Rinette's classist beliefs may have been deconstructed between the end and the epilogue since she's a teacher now but god this manhwa was a train wreck with how it handled everything
Thank God it didn't last for very long, what death taught me gives me an aneurysm every time I read it
Can I said how much I hate the fact that any female characters that act antagonist towards the female leads got called (most of the times) words such as b*tch, sl*t even though her goal may or may not be the male lead love while the male characters that hating the male lead only got called second male lead if he in love with the female lead or a villain if he hate both of them
I know it such a random thing but I just feel icky sometimes, sorry for the small rant
Believe me, it felt icky to me for years, why do you think I dedicated my account to calling this trope out? Lmao.
Usually, it's because of pretty privilege, wish fulfillment, and shallow depictions of feminism that are presented in these manhwas, and because most readers of OI and rofan's are straight women, they're going to have an easier time justifying the male lead they find attractive over the women.
Have you consume bl manhwa? And if you have, how do you feel of it having the same problems of rofan manhwa (especially the misogyny part)
I don't consume BL manhwa or BL manga specifically, but I have watched a lot of Helluva Boss and that show generally displays a lot of the problems I have with the manhwa I read. Consequences only matter for the sake of certain scenarios the author wants to happen, poorly written romantic relationships taking priority of the original plot, clear favoritism for certain characters from the writers, misplaced fanservice, very one-dimensional depictions of racism and classism to distract from the terrible personality of the authors blorbo, I can keep going but then we'd be here all day.
By far my least favorite trope to come out of BL content in general is the evil straight woman. It pretty much speaks for itself, in order to uplift the MLM couple, an evil woman who is usually the ex-girlfriend of one of the men will be introduced as an abusive bitch without the intention to actually tell a compelling story about domestic violence.
