LINKIN PARK // POWERLESS
I can't stand to see you sad so much. Lets talk about your hobbies. What are they?
“Hobbies!
My friend Salvadore was working on teaching me Cal.. calligraph.. calligrafey? Decoratey handwriting. However you say it. Its fun, I do a sloppy mess a lot, but he gets the hang of it. I also make bottle charm necklaces too. To be honest, I wanted to work as a journalist when I was older. Or maybe a writer.
I like hiking and puzzles too.”
“you’re up early!”
jokes on you i didn’t sleep at all and am in between energized and dying
"...hey, buddy. You doing alright?" What a rare occurrence. A buddy gets to talk to the prisoner he's assigned to in person. His voice is shaky, and he sounds weak. // ello
The smaller boy looks up from the ground, his face covered in a few fresh tears from earlier. His expression contorts into a slightly puzzled look. This was odd.. He was always forced to stay alone in his own little blocked cell.
Cloryn gets up slowly, rubbing the tears away. “Y-yeah… yeah, I’m alright.. who’re you?” His voice was soft. He didn’t want to scare him off somehow. Though a little 15 year old kid wasn’t gonna do much harm, the tone of the other one’s voice made him seem nervous enough.
“where the hell have you been?”
(oops)
"Who are you? Are you going to hurt me?"
Dacey looked up through the window, holding the tray.
“N-…” He frowned. The Doctor said to not speak to the prisoner at all.
…Fuck it.
“No. I’m Dacey. I’m the Doctor’s assistant.”
He had lifted his head after a small bit of time had passed. “Oh.. yeah… here.” Cloryn slowly shoved the silverware under the door. It didn’t look like he had eaten much however, only half the bowl.
Dacey frowned at the amount of food that was gone and sighed.
“Here.” He pulled a chocolate bar out of his pocket, and under the door. “I was saving this for one of the kids here. But you’re pretty much a kid too, so..”
Cloryn’s eyes widened slightly, and his small, pale and scarred hands reached by the metal door to grab it and he looked up, managing a faint smile. “Thank you.. you can go now… I don’t wanna get you in trouble or anything.”
“Imprisoned on your birthday….you poor thing.” He frowned. “I’ll get you out of here one day. Give you a home or something… You don’t deserve this. No one does.” Dacey shook his head.
Cloryn set his spoon back down, staring down for a moment and thinking about what he said.
There wasn’t a chance. He didn’t believe it. Not in this world. Not the way it is now.
“…You won’t make it though..” He sounded like he did want to consider it. He didn’t want to be here. But everything could go wrong the time this could actually happen. Not like he had any remaining hope left.
Dacey frowned. “We don’t know that Cloryn.” He sighed. He ran his hand through his hair.
“…I don’t know.” He stared down. “The way this place is now..? I don’t think I even have family anymore. I don’t even think there’s much of the population left..”
Dacey tapped his fingers against the metal door. “..Are you finished with the food? I need the tray and the bowl and spoon back.”
He had lifted his head after a small bit of time had passed. “Oh.. yeah… here.” Cloryn slowly shoved the silverware under the door. It didn’t look like he had eaten much however, only half the bowl.
